OT Potty Training Breakthrough !

My dd was a bit late on potty training but once I threatened her with not going to school she caught on lol! So I sent her to bed last night and forgot to put the pull up on and found out this morning when I went to put on underwear on her. The great news is no potty in the pants... Our first dry night. I think a big help is she didn't have any liquids before she went to bed. My girls are 6 years apart and during that time you forget how things are supposed to go but I am relieved she has caught on and will be able to go to K3 in the fall!

Congratulations.
I have the "how do we stop the nightime nappies" at the moment. My dd went from Nappies to knickers in one day with no looking back at 26 months but she is now 3.5 and still wakes up most mornings very wet. See sleeps like a log so I don't think it is laziness. I have tried reducing fluids etc but nothing works. If anyone knows the secret I would love to hear it.

Congrats TinkMom! I am going through the same thing with DS3 who can't enter his preschool class which starts later this month if he's not trained. My breakthrough was this weekend on a road trip when he forced us to pull the van over because he had to go RIGHT NOW! (and the closest exit was 10 mins away). I was so proud!
