Three questions - Francks and champagne and teaparty

I have three questions if anybody has the answers, I would be very grateful!!

Is Francks open to anybody - I am having an Escape VR so won't be having a planning session but I will be in WDW in November and wondered whether I could pop in and get some ideas!!! I don't have a wedding planner yet (still about 20 months out and have planning OCD!!!) so I can't ask her/him.

I have heard really bad things about the fairy tale cavee they serve at the cake cutting reception. Will Disney allow me to bring a couple of bottles of my own bubbles for this. If so what corkage/service fee do they charge? I could find corkage/service fee for receptions (Wishes) in Carrie's book. Will it be the same do you all think or do you think Disney will not allow it at all??

I intend to have a small girly tea party (about 8 - 10 girls) at Garden View tearoom. I know they will not allow speeches, gift-giving or games here but do they allow table decorations/floral to be placed on the tables?

Thanks for all your ongoing help ladies!!!

Francks isn't staffed all the time since there aren't actually any offices there - just rooms to meet with the brides that have planning sessions scheduled. If they're open you could likely stop in, but to be honest there's not much there to look at. You can go into the WP if no one is in there - it's normally open during the day - to look around. If I were you at this point that's probably what I'd do - visit all the locations I was thinking of using and get pictures so you can remember them later.

As for the cuvee - they'll let you subsitute with another wine/champagne off their list if you'd like. We did. We also added a second bottle to cover our group of 16 adults. I know there was a fee if we wanted to bring our own and in the end it was just simpler to let them handle it for the little bit of money we'd have saved.

I'm no help with the tea party part, so hopefully someone else will know.

Personally, we liked the Cuvee. I think there is a corking fee ($15), but I am sure Carrie will come along with the correct answer shortly !!

If you are just doing the afternoon tea at the GF, the tables are very pretty (and pretty full) without anything added. We didn't add anything and the photos were good. Just my opinion though.

Thank you
Can you remember the name of the champagne you had in place of the cuvee

Do you have any pictures of your afternoon tea you are willing to share?

As far as the tea party, I had one and they already had floral arrangements on all the tables. Some of the tables are small so depending on where they seat you, there may not be any room anyway. I really don't think you would need to buy anything but if you really wanted to I believe you would have to go through Disney floral.

Here are a couple from our tea. Due to the drenched nature of most of us after running through the rain, I dared not post a lot of them !!

The table got pretty full by the time we all got our different teas, sandwiches, etc....

Which items off the menu did you choose?
I love the choux swans!! Were they park of your choice or were they extra?

If I recall correctly (and it's been two years already), I think most of us did the Buckingham tea, which allowed each person to choose their own tea, a plate of sandwiches, a scone (?) and then choice of pastries. If you look on all ears net dot com (no spaces and use the . ) they have the menus. One person went with the fruit and cheese plate and that looked super yummy too ! I am thinking about doing the tea again at my next trip and I can't decide between the Buckingham and the fruit/cheese plate. The fruit tart was super yummy and the swan was just adorable !

I know some groups get all dressed up in hats and dresses too. Like I said, we were hit with a down pour, so we just wore our "park clothes" and it was August and VERY hot !

I highly recommend the tea !

tea ?

we just did our site visit last week and went to the tea room-it is lovely! I plan on having a bridal tea so I asked questions- no presents or favors etc. permitted they will hold them at the desk and suggested a lounge area to use afterwards for gifts etc....
The buckingham tea was wonderful!

Francks there are things to look at but basically we went into separate room met with wc went over some details. She gave us a cake book to look at as well as a folder of info with menus etc and then another with our LOA. we did look around at the flowers displayed and then there was a case(curio) with favors and some invites etc....I took some pics I will post

Good luck with all your plans!
