PLease help me with AKV - I am planning a special trip for my sister
So as I gift to my sister I am setting her up in her choice of DVC villa for 5 days. She chose AKV and now I need help! I have never stayed there before so I have no idea what to request. This is a special couples only trip for her and her partner and they have not been on vacation alone for over 3 years so I want it to be special. I will be booking them a 1 bedroom but cannot do concierge although I doubt I could get them in there anyway since they want to go the 2nd week of November. So can anyone give me any suggestions on what views I should be booking? I think I want Jambo house so they can be close to all the restaurants.

2009 may already be completely booked. You might want to call and see what's available.

I just spoke with member services today and it is mostly the values available at AKV for that weekend. Very limited at Jambo and nothing at Kidani.

I ended up getting a studio in Kidani, Savannah view for the 12-15th. not exactly what I wanted but I am sure they will appreciate it. A vacation is a vacation, right?

I think they'll enjoy it! And you are correct - a vacation is a vacation. They'll enjoy the getaway.
