Bay Lake Tower photos - The DIS Discussion Forums

These are my photos from my test stay at Bay Lake Tower on July 31st - I wanted to wait to post them until after the official opening.

This was taken from the pool area:

Taken from my room - we had a Bay Lake view on the 7th floor, this was taken looking to the right from the balcony:

Looking straight forward:

And to the left:

We were in a one bedroom, this was the living area (the couch to the left of the picture pulls out, and so does the funny looking armchair):

The kitchen area:

The master bedroom:

This was our room number:

Some of the AMAZING artwork around the villa:

This was the pool area - you needed a BLT room key to access the pool area so I guess you can't use this pool if you're staying at the Contemporary:

And one of the slide all lit up at night:

These fireworks pictures were taken from the skybridge - my camera's just a point and shoot but you get the idea of what you can see! The skybridge pumps in the music from Wishes just like the California Grill does - when we were there they were having issues with the electric water parade going around at the same time so that was all we could hear but I believe that has been fixed. Friends staying in MK view rooms, especially in the higher up rooms, said they had amazing views:

Fantastic pictures!

When we went on the tour I thought the pool seemed rather small. How did you find the size?

Hmmm...we thought the pool size seemed fine, but when we were there, there were only two other families there so we had plenty of space. Actually now you mention it, when we walked around at night I did think it looked a little crowded, so maybe at busy times it might be a little squashed. The slide was awesome though!

Not sure what the actual room measurements are, but it felt bigger than AKL villas (haven't been to VB). I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but the living area has these huge almost floor to ceiling windows looking out, so there is lots of natural light which makes it feel big. The balcony is off to side.

Kaite! i need more please. Your pics are awesome and i think that it was awesome that you kept your pics hidden until after the opening! I don't know if i could have done that.

If you have any more, i would love it! You did a fabulous job on the pics! Love the firework pics and the pool pics!
