Illuminations EVERY night - year round?

With changes to some events such as not showing Fantasmic! every night, is Illuminations still running every single night at Epcot? I sure hope so.

Thanks!

I noticed it's been taken off the schedule for Septemeber and October but the park is still open until 9pm. Not sure if this is a schedule error on the WDW website or if they have pulled it??...Surely it's not on at all in Sept and Oct?...

As far as anyone knows, it will still run virtually every night unless unusually severe weather cancels the show.

Gaps and omissions in listings on the WDW calendar have become far too common.
The site has been unreliable for virtually a year now.
Shameful customer relations!

It is for now...But i wouldn't be surprised to see it reduced if the economy doesn't improve

There have been no cutbacks to Illuminations.

I've seen a post that said it is shortened during the week. I know when I was there in June one afternoon the globe was sitting in the middle of the lake rather than near the American Adventure, so perhaps the shortening came during the time the globe floats out. I didn't stay to see it, so I don't know.

They could pop out the whole center globe section and not really adversely
affect the show, for me.

I love the music track, but the images on the globe are just too small to
be seen by most guests (even after the recent upgrade.)

The globe-only section is the slowest part of the show.

I know that they had a special shorter show when the globe was out for refurb within the last year.

It's my favorite nighttime show - along with any good fireworks display at MK. Thanks for the replies.

I think the cut backs on fantasmic might be due to park attendance. The studios get far less people than epcot. Therefore I dont think illuminations would be effected. I really hope not!

The cost of producing Fantasmic! is greater than the "fireworks" shows, because (in addition to the pyrotechnics) it requires a huge staff of union performers, non-union skilled performers, stagehands, lighting and sound techs, plus a team of CM's who staff and maintain the theater.
