Main Street Bakery Cupcakes?

Does anyone know if they Main Street Bakery still sells their cupcakes? I heard they no longer sell them, but I'm hoping it's not true. Anyone know? Thanks!

That should suffice! DH is obsessed over the cupcakes and it's all he talks about. Just as long as we're able to find one at MK, he'll be ok. Thanks!

Personally, I don't really know. DH just seems to adore them, though. He's not a huge MK fan and it's one of the few things he does like about going there. He's a weirdo!

Wasn't there a story about pulling them because of the nutrition a while ago - or that they were remaking them without the good lard/fat?

They're cupcakes!

Someone in another thread said that cupcakes are also available in Toontown.

I swear on my next trip I'm going on a Cupcake Hunt, to make a list of cupcake sightings.

The frosting! It's, IMO, the best buttercream frosting I've ever had.
Also, the actual cupcake part is pretty yummy too. Great flavor, nice and moist.

(Also, if you can't find them at the Magic Kingdom: they sell the same cupcakes at Goofy's Candy Co at the Marketplace and at the Grab n Go at Caribbean Beach.)

Wow, the best buttercream frosting? That sure sounds great to me! I make my own buttercream frosting and I usually do not like the bakery buttercream frosting. There is only one bakery in my area where I will actually eat the buttercream, but I still like homemade better (mine and my sister's, although we make it the same way!). I don't like the stuff in the containers in the supermarket so much anymore either, since we started making our own. I would love to find a cupcake I LOVE, frosting and all! I am going to try one of those, and if I can't find it at MK I will get it at Goofy's Candy because we are going there for sure for fun for the kids!

Aw, bummer!! No wonder DH loved them so much. He was raised on lard. ::shudders:: The first time I ever ate at my DMIL I thought I was going to die. She cooks EVERYTHING in lard!

Alright! I'll have to check in Toontown, too.

HA! I love your cupcake hunt idea. Make sure to take lots of food porn pics, too!!

I too love the cupcakes. I always get one or two while there. I love them for breakfast. I love the ones at Goofy's Candy Kitchen. There buttercream frosting is the best. Once I got a cupcake at the Main Street Bakery and it had yellow icing on it and when I ate it it had a lemon flavor to it. I hate lemon flavoring. So now I ask if the cake and frosting is vanilla. Blue, white, or pink frosting is safe, but watch out for the yellow
I always take one for our trip home. We drive. One time DD or DS, or DH put the cupcake in the cooler and when I got to the hotel that nite the bottom was like mush, I had to throw it away. and of course no one would confess, I think they were of me. Have a cupcake for me.
