Were any of your wedding photos taken at an angle? (similar to the examples in post)

as an example, like these:

None of our photos were at an angle like above...not our cup of tea.

Not my cup of tea (coffee) either.. The only one that I evenly remotely care for is the first one..

Don't have a digital copy, but we had some done at an angle to incorporate stained glass windows.

Just a couple though. Numerous ones like that would be too much for me.

Those pictures are cool, but I wouldn't have bought any of them if they were for my wedding. I'm a little OCD about things being straight/neat and the offset angles would really bother me!

I guess they'd be cool in an offset frame on the wall, if you're into being different and creating interest. I'm not 100% sure wedding photos are the appropriate outlet for frustrated art school artists though. I don't care for the look myself. As I look I find myself not looking at the people in the image at all, instead I keep trying to reconcile my eyes to my expectation of how the photo SHOULD sit.

No, and I don't like it. It reminds me of all the crazy angled shots kids get creative with when they first get a camera.

I really don't like them much myself, but they are really popular now.

No, no angled shots. We were married before the "arty" or "candid" style photos became popular. It was boring posed group shots for us, I'm afraid. I would have liked the more photojournalistic, candid style shots, but I'm not a fan of the angled photos.

No....I would think it would look odd in a picture frame.

I am a photographer and I don't do this. It has been a trend the last couple of years, but I'm not really sure why. Some consider it artsy I guess. If a client requested it however I would surely oblige. I just don't think it translates well to print or hanging on a wall.

No, thank God!

Sometimes I think the "angled" shots are for lazy photographers who are quickly snapping away hoping they get a great shot...they don't want to take the time to properly frame their subjects. I kinda understand that sometimes you have to just hope for the best with candid shots.

However, if the best photo from my wedding was an angled one, I'd be pissed.
