Confused with selecting a hotel!
So far I'm only seeing that Desert Inn & Suites has an indoor pool. Do any of the others that are walking distance to the park or have shuttle service have one?
Now the main part where I'm having a hard time is figuring out which hotels offer discounts? We have a few things to choose from......Disney pass, government, AAA & AARP between all of our guests. I know HOJO offers discounts, DI&S said that what you see online is the best they can offer. I was just looking at the Carousel Inn & Camelot Inn & don't see any discount choices available. Is there info I can find some place that shows who offers wht, or do I just need to call them? Last edited by MyMonkies; 08-02-2009 at 01:06 PM. Reason: typo |

I booked with Desert Inn and then saw that they are a AAA hotel, and called to see if they have a better AAA rate. They checked and said that what I got online was the best deal. $10 less than AAA.
Carousel Inn and Suites allows government, AAA, and AARP. Government gives you the best deal there. Camelot Inn and Suites has a AAA, AARP and a web special rate. Tropicana has the same options. Best Western Park Place Inn has AAA and AARP. Park Vue has AAA, AARP, and Government. All of these hotels are across the street from Disneyland. This website is the easiest way I have found to see all the area hotels together and then they have the link to each individual site to check rates at http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/D...ndLinkMap.html

I've stayed at the Park Vue Inn before and will be staying there again in November. It is right across the street from the entrance, offers a good continental breakfast and has discounts. However, I think their pool is outdoors.

I used Priceline in May and was able to book Crowne Plaza Anaheim for $46 and the room had two queen beds. It isn't walking distance but has a shuttle to the parks. Also had a great outdoor pool.
Prior to discovering the tricks to Priceline, we always stayed at Tropicana or Camelot. Their web specials were always the best deals, even better than Expedia.
