Saratoga springs with kids: Grand stand?

Where would you request to stay at SS? I heard Grand Stand is good. We have 4 and 1 yo kids, and would like to stay close to the main pool, bus stop, and restaurant.
What would be your request upon check-in in order of preference (in case if the preferred building were no available)?
Thanks.

I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I requested Grandstand for our upcoming trip mainly because I heard about it being the 1st pick-up and 1st drop off. According to what I have read and how the map looks it is also a short walk to the main pool.

The Grandstand has it's own pool area, but it is not a zero-entry pool. With children as small as 4 and 1, you will probably want to be at the main pool. Unless, they prefer sprinkler type play areas, then the Grandstand has a great one of those areas.

Your first request should be which area you would like to be in. In this case, most likely the Springs. Some buildings of the Grandstand are very nearby the main buildings and pool, but some are not. We have had both--we've been in the building closest to the main building (out the door, quick walk up the pathway and we were there) and the one furthest away (walk across the entire length of the parking lot, past the Grandstand pool area, around the building, then up the pathway and we were there).

We requested The Grandstand for our upcoming trip since we have three kids and I think they'll love the pool!

I'll let you know how it worked out! 15 days!!

I have 3 daughters 7,6 and 3..we started staying in the Grandstand as soon as it opened..my kids LOVE this section. The pool is nice and the little sprayground is great. There is a bar there, with a fill up station for your mugs and they sell a few selelct food items. It is the first bus pick up and drop off, which is great!!
The walk to the main pool and Carriage house is only about 5 minutes..
I would ask for Grandstand closest to the pool..

We love Grandstands with our group. There are 7 kids in the group and last trip they were ages 1-8. The kids love the play area and the pool is quieter than the main pool. We only went over to the main pool once during our last trip.

Two grandstand buildings are close to the main building and the Grandstand pool the other two Grandstand buildings are not as close to the main pool or main building as other locations such as Springs.
