Birthday Invites? Non-Disney? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi!

My Friend Gracie and I ( Shannon ) are going to the American Girl Place in New York City with our mothers for our birthdays. Girls ONLY. We are also going to be eating inside the American Girl Cafe. Gracie and her mother don't know where we are going and I wanted to make up surprise invites for us. The inside of the Cafe is Pink and Black. Maybe the invites could be that color? And maybe including something about shopping and having lunch? I don't want the invitation to say where we are going, just that we are going to the City. I am turning 13 and she is turning 5. Here's what the information should say:

Pick-Up: Your Ride Awaits You at 1:00
Date: September 5th , 2009
Place: An Exclusive Girls ONLY Luncheon
Time For Luncheon: 2:30

Sounds like fun!!! I wish I could come. I'm so impressed that you are 13 and on the Boards.

Would this work for your invitation? I made it 5x7 because that is a popular size right now for invites.

I couldn't resist...I made a candy bar wrapper for you as well. These are fun to make! If you decide to make these as favors to give to everyone at the party...here is how you make them. The print size should be 5.25 x 5.5 inches. Print out, then trim around the edges, wrap around a candy bar and secure with double sided tape. These fit perfectly on hersheys milk chocolate bars. Hope you like chocolate!

If you need anything else to make your birthday extra special...just let me know!

Thank YOU! OMG! These are so great! I recently got my braces so chocolate is the only candy I can eat right now!
