Main Street Vehicles
Does anyone know what hours the vehicles on Main Street run? I know I see them there in the morning but what about the afternoon and early evening? I wasn't sure if they kept them going in between the parade/street party times or if they just stopped running them for the day at that time. DS keeps saying he wants to "sit on little fire truck" so I want to try to go on it next time if we can but it may be an afternoon/evening trip so I wasn't sure if it would be possible. Also, do all the vehicles run every day (assuming one isn't broken or something) or do they have a rotating schedule where certain ones run on certain days? I've honestly never paid that much attention to the vehicles except to get out of their way!

Wish I could help. We've always wanted to ride some of them but always blow by Main Street at rope drop and never really make it back during the day

That's us a lot of times too! I'm usually in too big of a hurry to get on the "real" rides to bother with the MS vehicles. Just a couple of weeks ago was the first time I had ever gone on one of them. And then when DS and I were leaving the park one day I pointed out the fire truck to him and now he wants to ride it! I do really want to ride on the top of the omnibus sometime too though (if I can manage to stop long enough to do it!
). I want to see what Main Street looks like from up high.

Thanks S.S.! That helps a lot!
After riding on the horse drawn car a few weeks ago I can see why the would not have them running if it's too crowded. I've decided that I would hate having the job of being one the drivers. Even though the drivers were constantly ringing bells and honking horns, people just would not move. And we even had to completely stop at one point because this lady would not move her stroller out of the way. The driver kept saying it had to be completely up on the sidewalk to be out of the way and the lady would just move it a few inches in the street. I would get so annoyed at people not paying attention if I were the CMs. I felt bad for them. |

Ooh, I want to know about this, too. I want to take the kids on some Main Street Vehicles on our trip next year.

For anyone wanting to ride the horse-drawn carriage, I would advise you not to sit in the first row. Sit as far away from the horse's butt as possible
, unless you like smelling that Disney Magic or seeing it plop out . Of course it won't always happen, but very gross when it does .
