Opening Ceremony at MK

It's been awhile since we've been to WDW and we're going again in August . Just wondering if they still do that cute opening ceremony with the characters arriving at the train station at opening. If so, on an EMH morning, does it take place at EMH time (1 hour earlier)? Regardless if it's an EMH morning or not, how early do we need to get there so we don't miss it? Thanks!!

If (IF) they perform a Rope Drop Ceremony at a given park, it will ONLY be ONCE per day.

They might not perform it at all.

If (IF) they do perform a Rope Drop Ceremony at a given park on an AM EMH day, it will ONLY be performed for the EMH opening crowd and not at the "regular" opening time that day.

If (IF) they do perform a Rope Drop Ceremony at a given park, it will begin about 5-8 minutes before the scheduled opening time.

But, guests will be let into the park about 10-20 minutes before the scheduled opening time to get ready for the Rope Drop Ceremony.
