What kind of dog is this?

We adopted this puppy (Mandy) when she was 10 weeks old. She's 6 months old now. We were told that she is a spaniel mix. Now that she's older I'm thinking there is no way this dog has much, if any, spaniel in her! She's VERY long legged and thin, her ears sit on the top of her head rather than the side, her snout is long and narrow. Her hair is getting longer on her back and tail, and it's wavy in those places. Here is a picture of her when we got her:

This is her about two months ago:

And this picture is about a month old:

I'm just curious. She's a bit obnoxious -- but she's still a puppy. Wants to jump on everyone, likes to bite (playing, but still not a good quality!), and is very sweet. I'm interested what you think she might be a mix of.

When I saw the markings on her body, I immediately thought Rottweiler. I'm not all that good at this, though. LOL She's a cutie.

She isn't big and muscular like a Rottweiler but her markings match.
I see she is only 6 months, shes still growing and her feet look big!
She is beautiful!

DNA Kit!

Petco sells a DNA kit - it cost less than $100. You take a swab from inside the dog's mouth and mail the kit in. They will send you a report detailing the most prominent breeds (I think they give you the top two or three).

Either way - she is a cutie

We actually chose her because of how much she looks like one of our other dogs. This is Grace: She is 1/2 cocker spaniel, 1/4 beagle, 1/4 sneaky neighbor dog.

i grew up with dobermans and rottweilers, and i'm convinced she's part one or the other. the wavy hair on the ears (in the puppy pic) leads me to believe there's a little spaniel mixed in (i've always wanted a cocker spaniel).

Yep, first breed I saw for sure was rottie and it was the feet for me that pointed to that.

The markings and wavy hair could also be some English Shepherd (particularly the picture with the head cocked).

He really looks like an English Shepherd to me, if I were to see him in person that's what I would automaticly think. He's a beauty!
