Quick question about MK resorts!!

I'm about to make dining reservations at GF for dinner for my birthday on Friday. Do they still have the water light parade in the Seven Seas Lagoon? What time is it at? I used to love that when I was younger and thought it would be a great way to end dinner on my birthday!!

I know it used to go to each resort around 9pm for about a 5 minute display.

Which restaurant would you choose? Kona Cafe at the Poly or Grand Floridian Cafe?

I called guest services, to make sure. The cast member said she never heard of such a thing and it doesn't exist. I said "um, it's been around for at least 20 years, can you check for me?"

She put me on hold and came back and said, "Oh yes, it's still playing everynight at 9pm.

You can't see the water pageant from either one of those two restaurants because they won't face Seven Seas Lagoon. Also here is the exact times when they go by each resort.

The Electrical Water Pageant usually follows this schedule:

Disney's Polynesian Resort - 9:00 pm
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - 9:15 pm
Disney's Wilderness Lodge - 9:35 pm
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - 9:45 pm
Disney's Contemporary Resort - 10:05 pm
Magic Kingdom park - 10:20 pm (only during extended Magic Kingdom Park hours)

(You may want to check with the resort just in case the schedule changes or if its canceled due to the weather that day)

Many of the CMs answering the phones have never been to Disney World and many do not work in Florida. They know what they can find from their computer screen.

Narcoosees sits on Seven Seas Lagoon so you would be able to see the light parade from there if you book a dining time within the window it appears. I believe that the area if the GF dock is the first stop so probably an 8:30 or 9 dining reservation should work

Thanks everyone! We made dinner reservations at 7pm, so after dinner, we will walk down to the beach or dock to watch it!

Also, Is it smart on Disney's part to hire cast members to take calls who have never been to the parks? I've always said, the quality of cast members and how they help you has gone down over the years. It has shown the past few months for sure...
