Myrtle Beach Experts - Date Night..Where would you go?

We are going to Myrtle Beach in August for a week with another couple and all of our kiddies. We all decided that it would be fun if each couple got one night in the week to go on a date night, while the other couple watches all the kids. We agreed to go out after dinner so that we can feed our own kids, so Dinner isn't really something that we can do.

My question is, if you had a date night at Myrtle Beach, where would you go? We aren't likely to want a night club with dancing, but aren't opposed to some place where we can have a drink. Of course, we would also be interested in doing something fun as well.

Anyone familiar with the area have any suggestions?

The Piano Bar at Broadway at the beach is fun in a PG 13 - R kind of way..... but lots of places at Broadway at the Beach would work.

I was also going to say Melting Pot, but since you said it was after dinner I would go to the piano bar at Broadway -

We'll have to check out Broadway at the Beach! I see they have a Senor Frogs! That could be fun!

Thanks Everyone! Any other ideas are welcome!

For a quieter time, head north about 5 miles or so to North Myrtle Beach. Right on route 17, on the left, will be Barefoot Landing. All shops, restaurants, and attractions, but more laid back.

Still, I have a great time when I visit the Piano Bar.

We just returned from MB and one of our favorite nights was when we went to Bummz. It's right on the beach and they have adirondack chairs you can sit in while you have a drink while looking at the ocean. There was also some lightning around us which made for a great show too! On Wednesday nights there are fireworks on the beach (9:30 at 2nd Ave pier) - fun to just sit on the beach and watch. I think my ideas are more low-key than the piano bar (which I'd like to go to someday). We love MB!!!
