That was MAGNIFICENT!!! My daughter got married last month and would probably not have done that, but I've got to tell you that it was obvious that the wedding guests loved it, and I would certainly have gone along with it (don't know about her dad though! ).

I am not sure about this. While greatly entertaining, if it were a civil ceramony or entering a reception I would get it.
Even though in church we raise a joyful noise in celebration, it is not to Chris Brown. Is that who it was?

I am soooo old fashion in Weddings and tradition. But on a beach, or hall, it would be entertaining.
I did enjoy it, just for me it was not appropriate in a Church.

I have to agree.

I was expecting to see a reception hall, not a church.

A praise dance to say a Christian Hip Hop or Kirk Franklin song would have been perfect for the setting.

When I get married, the wedding will not be in a church due to the type of music I want played before and during the ceremony. I have my heart set on having tons of old school R&B songs playing as the guests arrives. The wedding party will walk in to Brian McKnight song. There's no way I'll be allowed to do that in a Pentecostal Church.

That was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us; what better way to start a new life together than to go dancing into it!??!

And I can't imagine that a procession to a song called "Forever" could be considered inappropriate. The thought that it could be makes me kinda sad. There are a looootttt of songs out there that could have been a loootttt less appropriate... "Baby Got Back"?

I think it's great and I have no problem with it being in a church. That's all I'm going to say or this will turn into a religous thread and get closed.

I bet they are involved in theater or music. I could so see my middle DS doing something like this. My other kids I am not so sure about!

I don't think my church would have a problem with it.

MTE!

They are on the TODAY show NOW!

It was the brides idea, she was a dancer. She danced in college.

1 rehearsal in an hour and half. They did freeform. The parents were apprehensive.

The minister is a relative and was in on it.

The wedding party will be on tomorrow to perform the dance LIVE on the TODAY show.

I think it is just the BEST idea for a wedding I have heard in a long time. They showed their personalities and had FUN VERY cool.
