Smile Magical Express Luggages tags

So has anyone else heard that now Magical express will only give you one luggage tag per person. Any extra you have to go and pick up yourself from baggage claim. What do you do?? I am traveling with one suitcase each but we also have a pack n play.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. We always used to get 2 tags per person so this is new to us.

I remember reading for our trip last March that they will send 1 per person but if you need more you can get some by asking. If you have enough time before your trip just call and they will probably gladly send more. I think they cut down because they were going to waste with people using less luggage and more carry-ons due to airline baggage fees. HTH!

Glad you asked this because I noticed this too...

Thanks for the question.

Also, if you do not have enough tags and can't get them in time for your flight, you do *not* have to get your bags yourself (unless you arrive between 10 pm and 6 am). You just give the extra claims tickets to the person who checks you in for ME.

I need to call to request more tags. We're flying Southwest so they allow more free bags. Does anyone have the number you call for this? I looked through the info. Magical Express sent me and can't find a phone number.
Thanks!

We only recieved one per person as well, so DH called and got some more sent out. No problem at all, they were here within a week!

If you're staying on property, don't most hotels offer you a pack n' play?

Smile

they do offer pack n plays but my daughter has severe allergies. So we do not take any chances.

We just called Disney and the told us no you only get one per person. We will call back DME and try to get some one else... that usually works. Thanks for the info and phone number.

For as long as we have been using ME we've only received 1 tag per person. We only take carry-ons so we really don't even need those!

we are a family of 4 and received 8 tags...we are flying SW...but I did not request extras What I did find odd is that my DD's name is on ALL the tix, and then the rest of us each get our names on once...I SWEAR they know we are taking DD back to college from WDW and that we need all those tags for all her stuff!

I just got back Tuesday and we flew Southwest and mom and I each took 2 bags. We took the 1 long tag that they gave us and tore it along the middle (it is perforated) and put each part on our two pieces of luggage. We didn't think anything of it and couldn't remember what we had done on previous trips. All four of our bags made it to our resort. Each part of the tag has my name, my resort and barcode on it. I am going again on August 11, I guess I'll call DME and double check.
