Halloween Cruise

Hi, We originally were going to book a cruise in early to mid October. We have cruised around that time of year before and the weather was always great. We are now thinking of booking a Halloween cruise for the kids on DCL.

My question is, is the Disney Halloween cruise worth it or is it really not a big deal, Is the weather ok on the western cruise in late October early November? Would it be smarter to book an early to mid October cruise instead just to be on the safe side weather wise?

We would like to take are kids on a DCL Halloween cruise. We have been to WDW on Halloween and loved it, but not sure if the Halloween cruise is worth risking bad weather for, we also really want to enjoy the islands. Any advice, Anyone experience the Halloween cruise, what did you think of it?

Well it was my experince last year , we were on a 3 night so it may differ, but Halloween was no big deal really. Becuse of how much they do at WDW we thought it would be big on the ship, they have stations you go to get candy and it's not the good stuff but that's ok because we really don't eat alot of candy but they only gave one piece per kid and there was only like 10 or 12 stations, they did have a dance party that was ok and a few decorations but the best things was seeing the characters dressed up for halloween that was fun, so in my experince it was not worth making special arrangements if another time is better for you

If you sign up with your DIS meet cruise group you will find that they will probably do more planned activities for Halloween than DCL.
