Harmony Hair cuts

I am not going to cut my hair before the wedding and it is all ready super long and annoying. I love the idea of getting it cut at the barber shop on main street the day after the wedding. I was wondering if any women have gotten their hair cut there. Are they okay with cutting like 15 inches off or is it just more of a place for kids? At the same time I want a decent hair cut as well. Any info about this lace would be great.

I don't know if they are trained to do styles. I've only seen simple trims done. Also if you're getting that much cut, I'd reccommend looking for a salon in the Orlando area that will donate the hair to http://www.locksoflove.org/ and they'll normally offer a free hair cut or a discount. Disney doesn't donate, but if you'd still like to do this. You can just ask them to cut it while it's in a pony tail and you can mail it yourself.

My hair is color treated as well. They accept color treated hair, but they don't accept bleached hair.

I'll back that up - I donated about two years ago and my hair was dyed red and it's originally mud brown. On October 13th I'm going to be doing it again. You don't need to go to a certain salon (although the free cut does rock!). Right now my ponytail is at 11 inches, and the minimum to donate is 10. YAY!

Here's an FAQ to help with any questions!

I will say that it is not just a place for kids. I have seen a lot of men get haircuts there. I personally haven't seen any ladies getting their hair cut there but I am sure you won't be the first! I don't think they really do styles though so I wouldn't bring in a magazine with a photo of your perfect hair-do or anything.... however I am sure they'd be able to cut your hair to the length you want.
