Grand Floridian main building rooms (RPC)

Do any of the rooms in the main building have theme park views?

And does anyone have any pictures of any of the rooms in the RPC. TIA!

From what I have read some of their rooms in the Royal Palm Club do have Magic Kingdom Views of Cinderella's Castle, however they need to be requested and can not be reserved like the Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View at the Contemporary.

The room I believe was 4405? Something like that.

Here's our view:

And the room:

Thank you Minnie! So basically, the rooms and the view is the same as a basic theme park view room, but with the RPC you have the concierge/ammenities-- correct?

Actually I think that is a marina view, or at least it used to be. You can see the castle from this view though if you are in the middle rooms or even down to the end near Gasparillas.

Basically standard rooms are the same, irregardless of whether you book in the lodge or on the club level. A few minor differences include having a DVD player in a club level room and automatically having bathrobes in the closet (in addition to having the other concierge amenities of course).

A theme park view is a bookable category with the standard rooms, so you're guaranteed to see some part of the theme park. In the main building, there are 20 or so rooms that offer this view, but you can only request it. You'll find them on the 3rd and 4th floor, room numbers I'm pretty sure are 4301-4310 and 4401-4410. There is a 2nd floor wing, but these are classified as honeymoon suite rooms. We've stayed in 4404 a few times and had the same view as Minnie posted.

FYI, rooms in RPC may have views of the MK, of the Polynesian/Wedding Pavilion/GF Theme Pool and Beach, or of the GF's Courtyard/Courtyard Pool. You may request an MK view but it cannot be guaranteed (unless, of course, you're booking an MK-view suite).

I've stayed in the Main Bldg. (RPC) 3 times and had a view of the MK from only one of those rooms.

Here are the views from the 3 rooms I've had. All were "Deluxe Room - King -Royal Palm Club"

(our first RPC room - 5th floor)

(second RPC stay - 2d floor)

(third room - 4th floor)

Good luck

Thanks for the pics and letting me dream a little bit.

I will be retiring in 2025, about two weeks before I take my normal annual trip to WDW. I am booking a week at the GF, followed by a week on the cruise!

A week at the Grand and a week-long cruise sounds like an incredible way to celebrate
