Timeline, music, hair trial : need your opinion

Hi,

I need your help again, I have so many questions about my planning...

1) The timeline

This is what I would like to schedule :

- 8:30 : Carolyn Allen's comes to steam my dress (not sure it will be necessary) and my DH's tuxedo

- 9:00 : Patricia LeJeune (or Beauty special ?) to do my hair/make up

- 10:00 : photographer arrival

- 10:00 >> 12:00 : Photos

- 12:00 >> 12:15 : Ceremony

- 12:15 >> 12:45 : Cake cutting with Diseny characters

- 12:45 >> 13:00 : Photos

It's a draft...What do you think about it ?

2) Hair trial

Do you think I should do a hair/make up trial before the big day ? I was thinking about making a trial in France, and taking pictures of what I like.
Is that a good idea ?

3) Music

I don't really understand how it works. It will be "real music" or the violonist will pay the tracks I choose ?

Sometimes I feel a bit lost...

Thank for all

I would schedule at least 2 hours for hair and makeup for yourself, especially if you have not previously had a trial with whomever you choose to do your cosmetology. That way you will have leeway if you don't like what they're doing and ask to change it, or if you want to try out a few different ideas before deciding..

Yes - if there's just no way to do a trial with the person you hire for the wedding day, at least this will give her something to work from. However, if you are at all particular about how your hair and makeup look (I know I am), I really recommend squeezing in a trial run with your cosmetologist sometime before the wedding. I've heard of girls doing it a few days before, and then going out to dinner or having an "engagement" photo shoot with their trial look.

It will be a real-live person playing the songs you pick on violin. If you want to play pre-recorded music, you will need to bring your own portable music player or hire one from Disney.

Planning - especially from another country - can be kind of overwhelming, but we're all here to help!

Thanks fo giving me your opinion Carrie !

So, I will change a bit the timeline : let's say Carolyn Allen's at 7:30 and hair/make up at 8:00. I will try to schedule a trial before, but I am not sure I will have the time to do it.

Last question, about dessert party : I don't remember when begin the firework in Epcot (and it may be different from summer planning). What is the good time for the dessert party ? 9:00-10:00 seems good ?

Thanks again for everything

Illuminations at Epcot is held most days at 9pm. The month of December it's held at 9:30pm. Some Friday nights during value season it's held at 8:00pm.

So a dessert party would be from 8:30-9:30 or from 8:00-9:30.
