Live from BCV - i-touch success! - The DIS Discussion Forums

I am pleased to report that our i-touches are working perfectly here at BCV, after my son easily set up the internet sharing facility on the wired macbook. We're happy just to use the internet in the room, though I guess there must be wifi in the lobby, as loads of people are using laptops there.

We have great rooms with large balconies overlooking the quiet pool, near the elevators and the car park. Perfect. The only minor problem was that it rained yesterday morning for several hours and was quite cool, so it felt a bit too much like England!

Have a great trip

It was so hot when we were there 2 weeks ago that I would have welcomed some cooler weather, enjoy the cool weather while you can.

Please post a few more updates from the Beach Club when you get a chance.

We are heading there next month and can't wait. Have booked a 2 bedroom (second room with 2 queen size beds) and also a studio.

Is Art the Greeter there still?

Sorry to say I have not seen Art the Greeter yet. I'll ask if he's ok and let you know.

We're going to try Beaches and Cream for breakfast tomorrow, so will report on that also. I passed by yesterday about 9ish and it looked really busy. Because of the UK time difference (5 hours ahead of Florida), we've woken up really early so far, so we've been at the Boardwalk bakery when it opens, eagerly awaiting pastries and lattes. Maybe by tomorrow we'll be able to wait till 7am for B&C to open.

The weather is back to normal today, great! But it's going to be hot on the golf course (Palm) this afternoon.

I saw Art when we were there the first week in May. I kind of felt like I should ask for his autograph!

Glad to hear that you are having a great time and were able to connect via iPod Touch. I wish there was just wifi access at the resorts.
