I must confess...I go to Disney for the food!

Of course I look forward to all the other stuff too...the magic, the resorts, Wishes, seeing my daughter light up at the sight of the castle. But I REALLY REALLY look forward to the food! My favorite part of the day is when we sit down for our ADRs, or grab a Dole Whip and sit on a bench to people watch. Isn't it horrible that I spend thousands of dollars just to eat???

But I can't help it, I LOVE the food! Anyone else out there with me?

You are not alone, we are the same way! We love to eat at WDW....so planning our day is planning where we want to eat.

I converted my husband to being a Disney fan with the food. He plans for months looking at menus online.

I totally get it!
Last night as I looked at my beautiful family around the kitchen table for dinner, I blurted out, "I can't wait until we get to Disney and someone else waits on you guys and cleans up after you all!" Now, I promise I was not upset nor were the kiddos misbehaving, I just was just thinking to myself how much I could not wait to be seated in a Disney restaurant- or picking out a goody from Goofy's Candy Store.

Oh also, I had a little too much caffeine before bed last night, so I was actually awake in bed thinking, "do I want the Dole Whip or the Dole float?" Okay, both!

Why do you think we go so much? We plan out entire trip around what food, TS or CS we will eat and snacks!

I love the restaurants at Disney, every time we go, we try new restaurants and go to our favorite ones... I spend countless hours looking at the menus and food pics ha! ha!

It's sooooo much fun to plan...

Have been to WDW so much that the parks and rides are secondary. The big planning is for meals.

LOL...us too. We like it sooo much that we upgreaded the free dining plan to Deluxe because there was so many restraunts that we wanted to go back to and new ones we wanted to try. We work the parks around our ADR's.

Another confession here! Yip, we travel all across the ocean with Disney food in mind .
I plan all year long WHERE to eat, then once I have made my reservations I study the menus deciding WHAT to eat.
Everything is planned out, TS and CS, the only things left to chance are snacks!
Disney food is DISNEYLISCIOUS!

Yep the food Is part of our trip as much as the Mouse,I spend months trying to figura out where we eat,my DS just gives me enough room at the computer and lst him know where we are eating, just kidding he gets as big of a say so, he just lets me to all the work. I really love to plan. Its funny the food seems pretty much the same from the restraunts around here, but Its the whole atmosphere that actually makes the food better please dont ask how?. Cost Is not opption here Its worth every dollar

I was really surprised on how much time I spent on our ADR’s (still do!) and the pure thought on where at eat…Last time we ventured out the world I didn’t have clue, plenty of “counter service meals” and eating at our offsite hotel. Saw the restaurants and wondered how the food was but didn’t dare venture into them, not sure why? Joining “The DIS” was one of the best things I did!!!! Reading, RE-reading and RE-RE-RE-reading thread after thread and looking at AllEars and the ratings AND the 4/3 deal Disney tossed in our laps, I decided we could go to Disney for a vacation! THEN the “FREE Dining” offer appeared like magic and BAM we are on! I started with 9 ADR’s and am up to 14 now!!! 9 dinners, 2 lunches and 3 character breakfasts, and tweaked all but 2 of them at 1 time or other.. I now have what I feel are perfect ADR’s as I made our park plans first THEN decided where to eat based on where we will be at. Even with “FREE DINING” I still will be paying for some meals OOP but that’s OK as it will be MUCH cheaper still then paying for the whole thing OOP….CANT WAIT under 60 (55) days now!!
