Room size or View?

Hi all! If you were staying at the Grand Floridian in the main building concierge, and you had the choice of a Deluxe room or a smaller standard room that might have a view of the castle at the same cost, which would you choose. Whew!!! Sorry for that run on sentence.

depends on a couple of things for me:
how many will be in the room? 4 adults - no question the larger room

will you ever have the chance to stay there again? next to never - no question the castle view

To us it is the view above everything else.

I'd take the deluxe room personally. The extra space would be more valuable to me than being able to see part of the castle out my window.

I feel like the above poster... it depends on how many people are in the room.

We have stayed many times at the GF RPC in a standard room with a castle view and next time we stay there we are going for the deluxe room as we like more space. The view is very important to us as well but a bigger room wins. If you do choose the standard room make sure you put a request on there for a castle/marina view. Now it is only a request and not guaranteed. This was the only request that we would have and have gotten it every time. We have stayed in rooms 3404, 4404 & 4405. All with the marina/castle view. I do believe that the deluxe rooms only have a partal view of the marina and the other buildings but not the castle.

The bigger the room the more to enjoy!

How much do you really "view" the view?

Sure its nice but on our last trip to Vegas we asked for a "view room" while staying in Paris LV and well maybe once or twice did we enjoy the "view" as we were coming and going too much to really enjoy the view.....

Thank you all so much for the feedback. I've only stayed in this building once on my first trip. We had the castle view and it was really beautiful. Never been in the deluxe room though so I guess Im leaning in that direction as there may be four of us. Thanks again!

While I am sure both rooms would be great to have I would go with the view of Cinderella's Castle, because there is something special about it no matter if your staying at the Contemporary, Polynesian or Grand Floridian and you end up with the Magic Kingdom View.

There are only three of us so the standard/castle view room was perfect. I had room for all of the luggage. I am a neat freak so things have to have their place. Now, if we had a 4th person, we would definitely do a deluxe room. Ah such decisions. What ever you decided, I am sure you will have a wonderful time.

I'd take the smaller room and go for the view. My son I'm sure would vote for more room.
