Dinner at the Contemporary then MNSSHP: where to park?

We're going to MNSSHPTEAME (the extra TEAME stands for "to enjoy a magical evening :-) and to start off the fun I've made an ADR at The Wave over at the Contemporary.

As we're not staying onsite (well, we are but over at the Dark Side, in Universal's Royal Pacific Resort ) we're driving over to the Contemporary, and I would love to keep the car parked there and go to the Party over at the Magic Kingdom on the Monorail. Can we do that - park at the hotel, hop over to the MK and leave the car there for the rest of the evening? Seems a bit silly to go move the car after dinner as the Monorail over to the MK would be so convenient.

You Can NOT park at the Contemporary and then go to the MK. You get a 3 hr parking pass for dinner. After that they can and HAVE towed people.Park in the MK lot take the monorail to dinner and then walk or monorail to the MK

I agree about parking at the TTC and during the hard ticket events the Cast Members working security at the Contemporary are more strict, because I noticed that when I have stayed there during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

I was wondering about this myself. This morning, we drove over to the GF for breakfast, and then took the monorail ride just to show my parents the view and Epcot (it was their first trip). Although we never had the intention of leaving our car parked at GF and going to the parks for the day, we were never given a parking pass and no one ever asked us what we were doing. Made me wonder how many people park at the GF and leave their car there all day while they're at the parks!

I have found that in my experience as well -- rarely have we been given a parking pass - weren't given one during Spring Break this year at the Contemporary and the last time we were given one at the Poly was three years ago on NYE (we did have ADRs) but it was just a pass and did not limit us to the three hours - the guards even told us to enjoy the fireworks when we entered at 6 pm that night.

I have been at the Poly three times since and I know my daughter has been there at least that many times also and we have not been given parking passes at all.

At the GF we have parked there for breakfast a number of times in self parking and have just been told where it is. Considering the employees park there as well and they don't have identifying passes on their cars it doesn't surprise me.

I wouldn't chance it. I'd park at the TTC, take the monorail to the Contemporary and then back to the MK for MNSSHP. We have seen cards towed from the CR and the Poly.
