Not THAT castle. North Bay Road Castle in Miami Beach. Seems like they were trying to sell it for 6.9 million dollars. Of course, I'm not suggesting a link between the economy, the real estate market, and the fire, but I bet that the police will take a close look.

If it is a insurance job, Trust me the Fire marshalls will find out. I just hope they are able to save it and all involved come out ok.

Wow. I grew up in this neighborhood, only one block north of the house, which I remember quite well.

I suspect there will be a long, hard investigation as to the actual cause.

Whoa - cool waterslide! The taxes are more than I make in a year though.

I just noticed that it was being sold for half a million dollars less than they paid for it only two years ago. Ouch.

I wonder what it was insured for.

Odd that with a house that expensive there wasn't a working sprinkler-system.

Odd that the *entire* house burnt down so completely, to the *walls*.

Odd that no other near-by houses seem to have had any smoke or fire damage.

Odd that the surrounding landscape didn't seem to catch fire.

Odd.
