Yes, I was able to connect with V&A -- our dinner was last Saturday; the harpist did play the song, and it was just lovely. My DH was very suprised, and it will be a lasting memory !

We were there over Memorial Day weekend and it was the nest meal we have had. It was better than any other time we have ever eaten there believe it or not. I have written a small review in my blog post...

What type of non-alcoholic drinks is available at Vic and Al's beside sodas, tea or coffee? We will be eating at the Dining room in August.

Hey all

Me and my fiancee are planning to get married when we are in Disney in December, and were thinking about booking V&As for our evening meal. Probably the regular dining room.

However, my fiancee is quite picky about what she will eat - i.e. no fish except cod, no lamb, no "silly little quail eggs" . She will eat plenty of other meat though.

I would feel bad booking it but specifying all these food 'dislikes', as in my head I think they will have to try a lot harder to make up a menu for her, so I'm hoping someone will tell me that it won't be a problem?

Thanks in advance

Hmm I have no experience with special request but they do have a vegetarian menu as well. My mom is not a vegetarian but does not eat too many "funny" meats beside chicken, salmon and steak so she is going to order some items off the vegetarian menu which we were told was not a problem.

Also you get to pick form a few items in each course so i am sure she can find some thing she like imo. If there is anyhting she allergic to or hates then just call them and let them know in advance (leave a message with you # if no one picks up. They will get right back to you!).

Stan I notice your from the UK and long distance calls are probably expensive. I would have a list of questions for them prior to calling and also see if they can call you back to save the phone bill charges. Good Luck. I couldn't imagine a more fitting dining option for your wedding night. Of course let them know it's your wedding night, I"d imagine they would treat you extra special. Congratulations

Luckily there are some telephone numbers you can ring before ringing the US number, this brings the cost down to 1p per minute, which is a lot cheaper!

However I normally get my TA to book all my meals, so would probably get her to do it for me

Symans3honeybees:
All drinks (alcolholic as well as non) at V&A (except wine) come from either the bar at Citricos or the bar at Mizners. So I am guessing that any sort of non-alcoholic drink that is generally available would be available at V&A.
Including water.

I have the Chef's Table booked for the evening meal after my wedding on August 9th. We've never been to V&A's before but we're really excited for it. It's just over a month away now!!
