BBB!!! Got a refund 2 years later!! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Two years ago, I reserved 2 nights at an Orlando hotel, but changed my mind on it, and stayed onsite at Disney for the whole 6 day stay. I cancelled my reserv. months in advance, but the hotel charged me anyways even when I cancelled correctly. Well, I put a complaint into Better Business Bureau, and this morning 2 years later, I recieve a call from the hotel apologizing and crediting my account!! Wow!!! I am truely shocked!!!

Glad you got your money back. If something like that occurs again use your state attorney general's office. They usually have a fraud division and of course immediately dispute the charge with your card issuer.

I know last trip I had changed and cancelled ressies a couple times. As a precaution I got a new bank credit card (new number) before I left so there would be no accidental hotel charges.
