Which to Cancel...or split up for seperate reservations?
We have late lunch ressies for 50's Prime Time Cafe & Sci-Fi Driveinn in Sept. but I may want to cancel one. Since we have never been to WDW before I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Which is better? My sister really wants to do Sci-Fi and me 50's. We may split up for this meal or just go with one place, if one is absolutley better than the other. On the trip it's my sister, nephew 12, my son 14 and of course me. My son said he will go wherever so he's willing to go with me to 50's PTC. Thank you!

I prefer 50s Prime Time over Sci Fi. I'm a big fan of comfort food, and the atmosphere is fun. Sci Fi the food is so so. The cars are okay, though you don't face each other so you sort of won't even be having lunch with your sister. Plus Sci Fi is always freezing when I've been there. I'd probably split up and each do your own restaurant. I bet it will be very nice to have some alone time with your son.

My vote is for Sci-fi. We all get burgers and shakes. We love sitting in the cars and watching the old movie clips.
We went to Prime Time a few years ago--the theming was fun, but we had a really boring waitress. I think if we had a better waitress--it would have been more fun. None of us liked our food, but as I said it was a few years ago. My niece wanted a PBJ--the waitress served an "uncrustable". |

I cannot wait to get there, its just about 2 months till we leave but it seems soooo far away! I had dinner last night near the SF Airport and watching all the planes landing made me and my son wish we were leaving now!

I say split your group for this one meal.
A break from each other can be a good thing. You can compare notes on the meal later. Have fun! |

50's PTC Pot Pie
Has anyone ever had the Chicken Pot Pie at 50's cafe for lunch? If so how was it? Thinking about getting that when we go in Sept.
