Hotel New York - THoughts & Breakfast?
In a couple months, I plan to finally visit the Disneyland Hotel Paris. However, I'm thinking of also adding a couple nights before that stay at the Hotel New York.
Is the Hotel New York similar quality? How is the breakfast there? Do you go at a specific time? Is it similar quality to Disneyland Hotel? Thank you. |

We havent stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for a few years but i can highly recommend the Hotel New York. And the quality (i believe) is similar - nothing is quite as special as DLH. HNY is quite small compared to the other hotels so doesnt seem too busy.
They had a year where hot food cost extra at breakfast but it was back on the buffet the last couple of times we went. You dont get a specific time and can go down when you want but the later you go the busier it gets. We like to go fairly early (not crack of dawn because often with Grandparents) and you can usually walk straight in. I prefer the Manhatten where the tables have table clothes and you sit in arm chairs but my kids prefer the Parkside Diner because they say its more Disney. ![]() We were there one year when a huge conference was on (as they often are at HNY). They opened up one of the conference halls for breakfast but the quality was still really good and the surroundings nice. I would recommend it though I know lots of people find it a bit too formal for Disney. |

We're just back and I agree with the post above.
No queues, even later - we went back after EMH - and hot items on the buffet. We preferred the Manhattan too - nice to have a bit more room. The Parkside Diner was fine too though, and although a lot smaller, the food is exactly the same and again not crowded. We experienced the Conference room too for b'fast in 2005, but the food was just as good. I'm a self confessed HNY lover!! I've put a review on the hotel thread.

At the breakfasts do you get your own table to eat at no matter which place they put you?

Yes you do. We have been several times in a group of 6 including 1 wheelchair users and we have always sat together on our own with little or no wait (even though a lot of the seating is downstairs and not wheelchair accessible). Equally when just 4 of us have always sat at our own table and dont think i have even seen anyone sat with another group.
