Contemporary Magic Kingdom View ????

We have always stayed at one of the value resorts on our previous trips -- this time we are going to splurge a bit and stay at one of the deluxe resorts --- i would like the contempoary I believe because of the monorail access and i hear if you stay in the magic kingdom view rooms you can see the fireworks from your room each night ----- does any one know if that is correct and is it worth the money???? Or does anyone have any favorite resort that they would recommend instead.

We have never stayed at the CR but friends of ours have in a MK view room. They said it was awesome and they could see the fireworks from their balcony. There is a gentleman on this DIS by the name of CR Resort Fan 4 Life and he is an expert when it comes to the CR. I am sure he will answer any of your questions. He has great advice and information.

We have only stayed at the GF RPC and we could see the fireworks from our balcony as well. For us the view is very important to us so I think the CR MKV would be a great choice. Happy planning.

The great thing about the Contemporary Magic Kingdom View is that it's a view of the whole park, so your getting a true Magic Kingdom View. By that I mean when you compare it to the Magic Kingdom Views of the Polynesian and Grand Floridian they only have a view of Cinderella's Castle and are more expensive then what the room at the Contemporary costs. Besides that if you were to request an odd numbered room, you would also have beds that face the Magic Kingdom, so it would be the first thing you see in the mornings when you wake up. We have stayed in those rooms and the view is incredible and we LOVE watching fireworks from our room each night.
