Question Getting an upgrade / something special - who to call?

I know some people who are going to Disney on their honeymoon in a few months, and I wanted to try and do something special for them. I wanted to call and try to get them upgraded, or just have Disney do something special in their room, etc. Anyone have any idea who I should call for something like this?

TIA

You can arrange for the Disney florist to have something delivered to their room.

As for upgrades, did you mean pay for an upgrade for them? You could always call reservations and explain - obviously you would need their names & dates (not sure if it's even possible anyway), but I don't know how you could keep it from them - if their reservation changes, they will send them out a new confirmation in the mail or e-mail and it will have the information on it.

The PP is correct about the upgrades. If you are asking Disney to give them an upgrade for free, probably not going to happen either.

Since there are probably hundred's of guests celebrating a wedding or anniversary or whatever, pay for anything you want to get them. Other posters have given you some great ideas.

Yellowstone was amazing and is a lot more inviting than Disney right now. Could we be selling it all in the near future? Maybe.

How about contacting either www.gardengrocer.com or www.wegoshop.com and having some groceries delivered to their room? Maybe some wine and cheese and some bottled water or something??

1) Get an upgrade arranged in advance, without paying for it?
. . .
. . . it doesn't happen that way
. . . lots of folks (the majority?) would like a free upgrade
. . . these are determined under specific guidelines
. . . and when done, are very limited
2) For something special
. . . buy a cake for one of their meals
. . . buy some room service specialties
. . . buy some flowers (Disney Florist, or several other services)
3) The theme here is
. . . if you want an upgrade, pay for it
. . . if you want something special, pay for it

NOTE: If noted on their ressie, sometimes CM's will do special little things, but this is at their discretion. If they like you, if the they have initiative, if the moon is int eh proper phase, the guest can get goodies. But, not because someone calls in. Freebies can include small and huge things, but the CM needs to want to do it.

I'm not sure the OP mentioned a "Free" upgrade. I think she was offering to pay for a surprise upgrade.
