Driving to Hoop De Doo - tips?

Hi all,
I heard that Fort Wilderness is huge and wondering about driving there from AKV. We are travelling with 2 seniors and 2 kids (one senior is disabled with a cane). Can someone tell me about handicapped parking near Pioneer Hall and what the bus situation is like? How much time should we give ourselves to make it to the 9:30pm show? Our regular are the buses? We were also thinking of catching the Chip & Dale singalong around 7:00 to 7:45 or so. Is that do-able?
Thanks!

1- There is NO guest parking at Pioneer Hall.
2- Internal FtW buses run very frequently, all day and into the night.
3- After parking, 30 minutes.
4- see #2
5- Yes.

If driving to FW, you're only allowed to park in the lot in front of the resort, and then you can catch an internal bus from there to Pioneer Hall. Unless you are actually staying there, you're not supposed to drive beyond that front parking lot, according to numerous CM's I've talked to on the phone about this (CM's at FW itself).

It will probably take you about 10-15 minutes to get from the front, wait on a bus and get to the Pioneer Hall. Those internal buses are pretty frequent.

Another option is to take a bus from AKV to MK, and then boat over to FW. Unfortunately, the dock is about a 3-5 minute walk to Pioneer Hall, so I don't know if one with a cane could negotiate it easily. This would take longer from AKV, but it's fun to take the boat from MK.
