POP - Best quiet lake view location? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi friends! We're staying at Pop for the 1st time in October, and are looking to request a nice quiet location. I think a room with a view of the lake sounds appealing, but I'm unsure of the best "quiet" location. I looked at a map, and it looks like the 70s building looks like it might fit our criteria.

Any experience here? Thanks!

I too am interested in the answer to this question. We are going in August and staying at the POP Century and would love a nice quiet room facing the lake. I do not know enough about the resort (since this is our first time to Disney and to POP Century) to know which building to ask for in which section on which floor. Looking at the map did not help. Could someone be specific and say - which floor to ask for, in which bldg., and in which section. That would help out tremendously!

I stayed in a second floor room in the 70's building and had a great morning view and it was pretty quiet. I don't think you can go wrong in this area.

ANY room facing the lake will be quiet. Well, quieter than rooms facing the pools

Either the 50's or 70's facing the lake on the 2nd floor will be quiet and have a neat view. You'll love pop.

We stayed there last August. We were in the 50's building facing the lake, third floor (room 3434) we loved it!

We could see Epcot's fireworks from our room/balcony.

I would also ask for a room on the top floor if you want quiet. Enjoy your trip!
