MK View- Conch Key

Has anyone ever stayed in one of the end rooms at GF's Conch Key? I know those rooms have straight views of the castle, but I was wondering about the boats. Since they sit so close to the boat dock, was there much disturbance from the boat horns, etc.?

We stayed in one of the dormer rooms in Conch Key facing MK in 2004. I don't remember being disturbed by the boat noise. I do remember that in the MK they were practicing for MVMCP and you could hear the parade music late at night after the park was closed. It didn't bother me - I thought it added to the magic. That was my favorite MK view so far(we've had 3 - two at GF and one at Poly).

I hope you get your request if Conch Key is where you want to be!

Do you mean the corner rooms or just those rooms that directly face the MK? We've had a MK view room three times but never a corner room. I don't even remember hearing the horns unless we were out on the balcony. Then it adds to the ambiance I think. Love those rooms.

We stayed on the ground floor of Conch once with an MK view. We were never disturbed by boat horns. If you have a baby who will be napping maybe it would be an issue... but otherwise I agree with the PPs, it just adds to the magic

I have stayed in a corner room that we had two balconies--one overlooking the boat dock and the other overlooking MK. We were on the top floor and it was really quiet. The view was awesome and no noise whatsoever. This was the best vacation we had.

We stayed in Conch Key last year on the third floor. We could watch the small ferry boats at the dock, but they were not noisy. Obviously, Wishes is pretty loud and you may hear some noise from rope drop and the parades.

Now at the Polynesian in the Tahiti building you can hear the ferry horns, but not enough to wake us.

Here was our view
