Ideas for stack of books card box

I want to make a card box for my wedding.

I am an English teacher and love reading, which somewhat goes with the idea of Happily Ever After.

So, I was thinking of getting a couple rectangular boxes and stacking them to look like books, I was even thinking of tearing off a few covers or maybe painting or otherwise decorating it to look like books and then cutting a slit for the cards, perhaps writing Happily Ever After on one somewhere?

Does this sound doable?

Any ideas or advice?

This sounds very doable! Please post pictures when you're finished!

Have you checked your local scrapbook store (or hobby/craft store) for the paper to use? Some wrapping paper also has a book cover feel to it. I'd wrap each box separately, then cut the holes and assemble.

You could add some stickers to mimic a book cover. Disney stickers seem to be everywhere, so you could use those. That fits in with your Happily Ever After theme.

Can't wait to see your pictures! And best wishes for a very long Happily Ever After!

Susan
