Gatordad's First and only trip report

Here goes. FYI, the "N" key is missing from my keyboard, so if a word should have the letter n, and it doesn't just pretend because I'm not pounding the keyboard..... I'll add as I remember stuff.

We got there Wed. First thig I did was call Donnie's Hit it and Quit it parking service to make sure I would be able to get in the spot..... We got a late jump and got there probably at 6 or so.... it was rainig all day, and I was tempted to wait until the next day. The mayor met us at the checkin and we proceeded to be put in 1602, but what is the best loop? does the short bus go there? Should I get a golf cart? How soon should I leave for rope drop? do the busses get there early enough for character dining???, but I digress...... So he backs me in quickly, about 2 mins. nothing eventful there..... set up and then I think Cajun Geek and CJ come and we watch them, and get back to work. I think that's the day Keylime and the gang got there as well... Donnie backed them in also.... I asked the mayor why he wasn't staying in 1600 with the rest of the morans, he said he couldn't get into any of the sites.... we then found him, 10 feet from Mrs. Gus in 1700.... go figure.

Then Tungpo and his gang showed up with 300 dogs that barked all night..well maybe not 300 and they were quite quiet across the street from us. Unfortunately his beast of a golf cart was under the weather, and I didn't get to drive it. Tig and Tas, as well as Tigger were in our loop also.

Naturally, we grilled and I drank then looped.
Thursday was sortof uneventful, Todd Cheryle and Rudy ad his new dog showed up I think, we went to the pool, then waited for our friends to show up. we went to Cocoa Beach for dinner, saw the Ron Jon shop, found out the original one was in NJ, the liars that make you believe it was in FL....

Friday we played golf at Champions Gate, came back and had our first grillparty of the weekend, Lo and behold, who shows up but Carol and Rick..... It was an unexpected and great surprise. missed the fireworks due to drinking and cooking. Met Lornaduck, Lornadrake, and heard that Lornaduckling would be there the next day..... Homebrew was there, with his grandkids in tow. Big golf cart parade again, everyone had fun.... snuck down to WL, cut off a bus, hid from the federales, and generally caused mayhem.... heard a gator about 3 feet from us on the trail.

Saturday was the big cart parade.... I tried to purposely oversleep, but the kids got me up. Some guy let us in after the parade started, but we are all deaf due to being in front of the ((*)&*%% fire engine. Got hit in the head by a piece of candy thrown by a rowdy parade watcher. There was some crazy lady, Chris took her picture, and of course the Mayor was like, oh, that's Judith, she lives in this site, I know her, like who doesn't he know....

swam, grilled and the funny thing is, we started the weekend with like 10lbs of meat, and we came home with about 40.... go figure, a Miracle at the Fort, maybe they'll make a showtime movie about it..... After the fireworks things quickly went down the tubes..... My cart melted a component again, had to be towed in from an undisclosed read: Illegal location...... then we find out Tigger's cart crapped out as well... We lost 2 carts, and Jen's jeep battery all in one weekend.

The parades went on all night long, with OCSD, the Disey popo tried to stop the revelries, but who knows.

The next day some guy from hq starts driving around. He starts asking all sorts of questions and mulling about. Discamper immediately knew what he was up to, so he got him right back using the Force... "these aren't the carts, you're looking for".... Angie lent us her cart, so we were back in business....I drove home, got the dog and we extended til Tuesday and parked the truck in the vacant site next to us...

drank a lot that night, kicked a diaper in the parking lot, jen breastfed uncle sam, donnie blew , erh blew him up using, well, let's just let the picture tell that 1000 words..... told some guy who's son was trying to get jiggy with Gussies kids that all the girls were my daughters...... Got to site like 1:30 or so.... I don't even remember... Lorna said after 1, so I'll take her time.

I then wake up in a daze, it's Monday morning, I figure I'll take the dog for a walk in the vacant site next to me..... and I look up and

oh crap... and there's a note on the windshield... I figure I'm about to be cussed out like words even a guy from the northeast had never heard, I pick up the note, turn your computer sideways to read:

lol......

I then had to go extend and who do I run into again, my archnemesis, AsianJason...... I quickly snapped this surveillance photo of him, just so he knew I was watching...

Note how he's not really watching that guy he's talking to, but watching my every move, ready to pounce at me and kill.... but I guess he saw my crocs n socks and knew you can't mess with the Gatordad.....

The next day we left, and Stacy, Jen and I pushed the gatorcart back into the trailer, like a nascar driver pushing his cart back to the barn..... Went to WL food court, and had a sad day leaving....

Then colston came over, he brought us gifts from the poly and took photos with anyone that wanted one. ok, I lied.

OMG!

Pete, that was the best dissertation EVER! You nailed it! I love how you went home with more food then came with - next time I volunteer to cook, apparently, it's a very lucrative deal!!

I LOVE the entire report! Seriously, I almost pee'd my pants!

I asked Todd..."How is it that a guy who never smiles can be so F'n hysterical?!

You all were so much fun!

See, I KNEW you didn't really eat at the WL food court.

Now that, my friend, is the way to do a trip report!

Gatordad, does Kingsford do drop shipments to you every night? You had to go through 800 #’s of Charcoal - that grill ran the whole time!

Gatordad, thanks for the mention of my whole Ducky family.
I turned my monitor on it's side to read the note, now it doesn't work so good.
If you only do one trip report it was great we are LMAO. Richie and I are still sitting here with tears in our eyes.
I wasn't fully awake when you told us about the truck, it took me a while to realize that there was a camper there. Like I said I was half alsleep.
By the way anyone find our blue soft sided cooler with wheels, we will be glad to donate the beer, we just want the cooler back so we can fill it again.

Hearing the story of the missing cooler brings up two things:

1. There were people stealing coolers

2. I am remiss, and I formally apologize to the Millermousketeers from the great State of Texas. This is their 2nd GG, and they are a welcome addition to the group, and A-ok in my book..... and we both hate the Sooners.

I have to change my signature
The new slogan is " I can do things for you that your husband cannot"

or this one"it's a 5th wheel thing" How bout a vote. I backed in about seven 5'ers this weekend as wives watched their hubby just stand there.

Vote for Pedro. I will make all your wildest dreams come true.
