Hello everyone! We are just back from our 15 night trip to Walt Disney World!! I am so excited to share all about our AMAZING trip with you all!

WARNING: You will see VERY sweaty people!
You will see repeat outfits!
You will see TONS of pictures!
and for the first time, some video!!!!!

Our journey began on June 20th and came to an end on July 6th! We stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort for 12 nights and then moved to the Boardwalk Villas for our last 3 nights! It was our first DVC trip! We were on the deluxe dining plan for our first 12 nights and then the regular dining plan for the last 3! All I can say is WE ARE FULL!!! We had some AMAZING meals and experiences! OK everyone, BUCKLE UP because here we go!!!

Traveling in our group was, me, Diane (the mom)
Bryan (the dad)
Matthew (child #1)
Eric (child #2)

As well as some guest appearances by our new vacation buddies and friends (to be revealed later)

This trip had been in the works since July of 2008 after our decision to purchase into the Disney vacation Club! I spent MANY hours pouring over so much information! LOTS of planning goes into ANY Disney trip but, one of this length required some EXTRAORDINARY SUPER PLANNING (which is the part I love!) Remember this though because it will become important later on in the story!

We had 28 advance dining reservations!!! I had planned EVERY single day of this trip! WELL....................................

ALOT of the planning went out the window, starting the minute we hit the airport to leave!

So join in and follow us on this CRAZY journey and our tales of The World!!

We were there, at the Poly, for the first week of your trip-the 20th-27th. I am curious to see if our paths ever crossed!

Well, our journey really started on June 19th. The kids and I had just ended school for the year on the 18th and the 19th was packed with family obligations so, when the boys finally got home on the night of the 19th they were OVER the moon excited to rip off that last Mickey head on the countdown calendar!

So surprisingly, the boys drifted off without to much trouble! NOT ME, I was TOO EXCITED to sleep! I eventually drifted off though!

Here in NJ before we left it had rained 13 out of the previous 18 days, the weather had been AWFUL! Bryan and I were nervous that we would have trouble flying out of Atlantic City. Our flight wasn't suppossed to leave NJ until 5:00pm so we had a whole morning filled with last minute packing and house cleaning, lawn mowing and fish tank cleaning activities! Finally at 1:00pm we decide to hit the road and head down towards Atlantic City. The boys were just about jumping out of their skin with excitement! The plan was that we would stop for lunch and then drive to my fathers house and then he would drop us off at the airport so we didn't have to pay for parking for the 16 days that we would be gone!!

When we left it was POURING rain! All of our luggage got soaking wet and so did we! A MISERABLE start to the vacation! Forging on, we drove south and stopped at Chili's for lunch/dinner! We had about 1 hour before we needed to be at my fathers house to make it to the airport on time, we figured it would be NO PROBLEM because my dad only lived about 5 minutes away! WRONG!! We had the slowest service in history! Bryan and I tried to keep up some chit chat so the boys didn't know we were freaking out a little bit about the time! Finally we got our food and had about 10 minutes to choke it all down!! It was hilarious, our table was SILENT as everyone was scarfing down their food! We asked for the check and bolted out of the restaurant headed towards my dad's house! The rain had stopped and the sun was actually out so we thought hey everything should be on time!!!

WELL, we pick up my dad and drive to the airport. We check in go through security and BAM our first hiccup, because of the nasty weather ALL DAY we were delayed an hour!

FINALLY we were able to board and were on our way to the GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH!

We were suppossed to arrive at 7:20 but we didn't land until 9:35...HUGE BUMMER! We made our way to the fake monorail...

We collected our own luggage because we arrived so late, we got it NO PROBLEM and went down to the Magical Express counter! There was no one in line so we breezed through! We were put on a bus immediately and I guess it had been sitting there awhile because as soon as we got on we left the airport!!!!

A happy family on the ME bus!

Saratoga Springs was the second stop. We went to Old Key West first!

Coming up next, would we get our request? How would we ever find our way around in the dark?

I can relate to the rain in June. Heck I think it rained practically all of June here in MA too, what a drag!

And your poor son looks so dejected at the airport, what a sad little face!

Glad you made it, albeit a little later than planned. Can't wait for more!
