What decision has Disney made that makes no sense to you?
For me it would have to be closing the Wonders of Life pavillion. I don't know why they would close the whole thing down. It make no sense to me! I loved Body Wars! They have many other attractions that are more dated than the ones in that pavillion.
Or, maybe I would have to say closing Pleasure Island.

Closing the Hunchback show while the Sound Stage sat there empty for years. They should have moved the Beauty and the Beast show the the Sound Stage and put the Hunchback show in the outdoor theater. And closing Food Rocks, but leaving the Circle of Life movie. They should have moved Food Rocks to that studio.

reducing the number of nights that Fantasmic is shown! Yes I know it's a money saver for them, but it is hugely popular. And now it makes planning that much more difficult (for me at least)

I don't understand why they changed the ADR time frame from 180 to 90 days.

Definitely closing Pleasure Island. Replacing something unique like the Adventurer's Club or the Comedy Warehouse with more shopping and a stupid tethered balloon ride?? Please...

I agree with a lot of these, the 90 day ADR window, less Fantasmic nites, etc, but (here I go again) not ONE pet friendly resort on the entire property blows my mind. This one and maybe only one area Universal has WDW beat....it makes me

I think I understand why they do most things, and whether or not I agree with them I realize they are sound business decisions. They can't please everyone, but making something more expensive for others, say meals for kids, keeps them cheaper for others than they may be. Fantasmic is similar.
There is a single exception, and I wrote them about it. And this is really it. They covered the plaques saying "here you .... etc etc" at MK with their YOAMD stuff last year. Such an endearing thing to cover with one more sign, they already literally had 100s i'd seen before getting to that point. There was no marketting benefit, it was a loss actually considering they lose the unique thing that sign offered. I wrote, they gave a semi standard reply. Either others wrote, or a manager FINALLY noticed the stupidity of this, but it was gone within the month. The economic stuff is a reality. So is the updating of rides. Some new rides suck, but thats how it goes. |

The drastic stroller rental prices. Absolutely no reason to price gouge parents like that. I mean raising it one or two dollars, fine, but the price increase they made was just unneccesary.

I agree with changing the Journey into Imagination ride....I loved the old ride as did my kids....that was just a poor decision and had nothing to do with saving money...IMHO

In the parks, I have to say The Skyway -- many cities have monorails now, but The Skyway was only in WDW. It was more than just a method of transportation, more like a ride.
In the rest of WDW, stopping construction of Pop and then just letting that shell of a building sit there... ![]() And D23? That made no sense at all the way they did it.
