AoA - Lion King Suite

Just stayed a few days at the Art of Animation Lion King Suite with my family. Let me preface first by saying I prefer to stay in the deluxe resorts, but this was probably my favorite of the value resorts.

I feel you get what you pay for, but for kids they are going to love this place due to the themes all over the place. The food was pretty good and offered quick service. I got a open steak sandwich which was pretty good.

The room was pretty large and had a small sitting room and a side area when you first walk in for a table. There were three double beds in the suite. One in the main bedroom, one in the pull off sofa in the living area and one more in the wall which went on top of the table. The suite can easily sleep 6 people and has two full baths too. We did notice in the bathroom in the living area the water did not get very hot at all when you took a shower, but could in the main bedroom one.

The biggest issue I had with this resort was the beds. I felt the beds were way too hard for my comfort. The master bedroom one seemed the hardest of them all. The bed in the dinning area was neat because it had two night lights above it when you pulled it out that my daughter loved because she always sleeps with a little night light. The way the beds were so hard reminded me of the Fort Wilderness Cabins beds which were also extremely hard. Below are some pics of the resort.

The pool was decent and had a good theme to it, but unlike the deluxe resorts it didn't have a slide or anything other than a pool with a lot of cool decorations for the kids. It also has a little sprinkler area for the smaller toddlers which was neat.

Edit: can't post pics until I get more posts up. Will do so when I get that done.
