Great first night! Spaceship Earth was fun and a hit with us too!

I *LOVE* your surprise bag idea. Hope you don't mind if I steal it for my next trip! I'm so glad that everything was a hit and that everyone is feeling the Disney magic

Love the update!! I'm glad you enjoyed Spaceship Earth!! We haven't rode it yet.....not sure why?? But it's definitely a must-do on our next trip because the other day my son asked if we could ride in the "giant golf ball", when we go back.

The pictures of your kids w/Bruce are too cute!!!!

Love the gift bag idea!!! I may just have to borrow that idea for our upcoming trip. Your kids must have been sooooo happy!!!!

It's funny, the day went very differently then I'd envisioned but it really ended up being a great first night. Going with the flow is definitely the way to go sometimes.

Welcome Home Missy! How was your weekend?

SAB sounds amazing. I'd love to be able to stay at BC one day, but I just don't see it fitting into our budget.

I know what you mean. We would have really had to stretch to make it fit for a week, but the 4/3 deal made it possible. POR is just gorgeous too.

The gift bags were an awesome idea! I'm glad the kids enjoyed them! I've debated doing something similar on both of our trips, but the surprise factor is just so hard for me! I get so excited when I get things for the trip that the whole family knows! Keeping them a secret during the planning, packing, etc just would be so hard for me....I may have missed my window of opportunity anyway. Not sure when our next trip will be, but it may be a "just Jeff and Missy" trip, and if not, Dan will be at least 16. You did a fantastic job though. I'm sure it's something the kids will always remember!

Thank you, the bags were lots of fun to do. A just mom and dad trip sounds great though. I told George I'd love to go with just him during F&W sometime.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pic of Ian kissing Minnie. Classic!
I love it too.
So Chef Mickey's has birds, huh? I was thinking I wanted to check it out, but I may be re-thinking! LOL!

Don't worry. The birds are hardly even noticable.

The pic of Madeline (I think?) with the napkin is too cute. I love it when you can capture moments like that...makes for a great story in the scrapbook!

It's actually Amelia.

You finally made it to Epcot! YAY! The comment about Disney Magic not curing all sibling woes is too true....it definitely helps, but they ARE still siblings after all!

Can't wait to hear more about your trip!
AK and the explanation for this TR title soon!

Hurray for the gift bag success!!! What a great first night at Epcot!
I can't remember whether Amelia was irritated with Ian for taking all of the room or with Madeline for putting him up there. Probably both. Three kids in a sharks mouth was a little too tight a fit. Who knew?

The shark picture is a riot! I love it. It's fun to have a mix of the happy...and not so happy pictures.

Ok "I" want one of those surprise bags! What a great gob of loot

Love the goodies!!

I knew I'd mess up which girl that was! Sorry I got it wrong Amelia!

We had a good weekend, thank you for asking. My brother and his family used to live right around the corner from us, but they moved about 6 years ago. So sad...I hate being the Aunt in the pictures..I want to be the Aunt that can hang out anytime, but it's just not to be right now. It was nice to spend some time with them. I'll have a few pics on my TR soon!

The weather there was perfect...unfortunately we came home to more clouds and rain. BLAH!

We all walked into the super fast moving que at the Nemo ride in the clam mobiles...

When you asked that question, I immediately thought, "First I'd go to SE and then I'd stroll around the Living Seas!"

Cute goody bags... I'm doing them for the kids for our "Countdown to Disney" party and we've got lots of the same stuff!!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it - my parents and sister have never been to WDW and it'll be our first TS meal. My boys (8,10) are looking forward to meeting Goofy, especially!
Welcome and thanks for joining in. Your guys will love Chef Mickey's. How fun that grandma and grandpa will get to see their grandsons with the characters. Just beware of crazy napkin twirling. Wow, 21 days will fly by. Are you thinking of doing a TR?

Steal away! I have "stolen" many, many ideas from the Dis.

The giant golf ball is definitely worth a ride. Yes, the kids were thrilled. Who doesn't like a bag full 'o presents?

I thought in the interest of full disclosure I should share that although the kids really did get along most of the time, we had our moments.

Jen, I thought of you, CP and LL as I was writing this update. I had a moment at the very beginning of the Spaceship Earth ride when I wondered what it would be like to be a Spaceship Earth pancake.

Aw, I know what you mean. My brother's family lives about 2 hours away and George's sister's family lives in California. When I'm asking for gift ideas for the kids, I always say, " Remember, I want to be Fun Aunt Christine."

Yes, low key is a good way to describe our evening, which was good because we had a busy day planned for Tuesday!
