Smile Just Booked Wishes Dessert Party

I just booked the Wished Dessert Party for July 13.

I think today (June 22) was the first day you could book it. It's $17.99 and $9.99 per person, paid in advance, with a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Seating begins 1 hour prior to Wishes at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station outside seating.

Reservations are made just like other dining: 407-WDW-DINE.

Me, too, for August 3rd.

The most stressful thing for me is trying to jockey for viewing space with the huge crowds. If I set up an hour in advance and get muscled out it makes me FURIOUS and ruins the experience for me. So, I'd rather pay a little more for a more "private" viewing. I hope this is worthwhile!

This ends 2 days before we go down. In hopes that it's successful and they extend it, I would love to see pics or read a review after you all have come back. Enjoy!! I am sure the desserts will be yummy!!!!

2 questions...

If wishes starts at 10pm, I assume this starts at 9pm?

Also, Spectro is scheduled for 9pm so my question is if I get there for 9 will I be able to see Spectro as well as wishes???

Yes, the party starts 1 hour before Wishes, so 9pm.

I'm pretty sure you cannot view Spectro well, if at all, from the TL Terrace. But I haven't been over there in awhile to comment on that.

Following my conversation with the ADR CM, it seems like it works much like a regular meal ADR. You are supposed to check-in 15 minutes to your reservation time and thus, seeing spectromagic may be a problem!!

I was hoping to see both and I may go to the Dessert party and check-in while my wife and kids see Spectro.

One last note, the reservations for this feature are selling fast, multiple days that I looked for between 8/19 and 8/24 were already booked out!!

If you are unsure of whether you want to do this at the present time but are still interested, I would book now...remember there is a 24 hour ccancellation prior to the time of the reservation!!

We booked for July 3. We chose this date for 2 reasons.

#1 - it's a special preview of the 4th of July fireworks, so we'll get to see a special show in a location that hopefully won't be as crowded as Main St and the Hub

#2 - on this night, Spectro is at 10:30, so we'll get to the dessert party at 8:00, the Celebrate America show will be at 9:00, and then we'll still be able to see Spectro at 10:30

Do you get just one dessert or is it like a buffet? Can you use any of the dining plan credits to pay for it?

It's not on the DDP

That's the one thing I specifically remember her saying. It's also a pay in advance thing with a 24 hour cancellation policy.
