i have been looking and looking and there honestly does NOT seem to be much that is actually close to sea world! im shocked! lol. and there are a few, i saw a couple in some posts on here BUT, those are WAYYYYY to $$$$ for me, i dont know how anyone could say tha 100 and up a night is affordable! i would say maybe, like, 60-80 a night is acceptable but the lowest i found is like 99.00 then on up to almost 200.00 for a standard room! holy cow! so does anyone have any BUDGET FRIENDLY recommendations???? thanks

Yeah, there's nothing within walking distance to Sea World. There are some nearby but we always avoided those along with Hotel Circle in San Diego. We usually stay in La Jolla or near the Gaslamp District. I am not sure what the prices are right now. Try the Residence Inn or Embassy Suites but during the summer, prices are usually pretty high.

yayyyy well i looked and so far found one, that looks REALLY nice and clean, its the heritage inn, says its one of the closest to sea world, and is a bit near la jolla, it says its less than a mile to sea world! and its only 49-69 a night, the type of room i need is only 59 so that is AWESOME! it has a nice looking pool and the rooms are actually pretty! so unless i find better, that works for me!

I booked the Manchester Grand Hyatt through Hotwire and got a great room for 4 for only $96 per night. It is a 4 Star hotel and normally goes for $229 per night for our dates!
I highly recommend trying Hotwire. You can use the site www.betterbidding.com to help figure out the hotels offered by Hotwire. This was my first attempt at Hotwire and I am sold!

hmmmm. ive looked at hotwire a few times, and it always seems to be MORE for me, and doesnt always have the options i need, BUT,,, that is for flight and car rentals so im gonna take your advice and check it out for the hotels before i make any decisions. that sounds like a great deal! thanks!!
