Beaches and Cream - questions

Hi all,
After seeing so many pictures of delicious looking goodies from Beaches and Cream I have decided it is a must do for our next trip but I have a few questions. We are going in September for free dining:

- do you need to make a Priority Seating to eat here?
- is it on the Dining Plan? If so does it count as Table Service?
- does anything on the menu count as a snack credit?

Thanks so much!!!

- you can not make a Priority Seating to eat there. You just walk up to the podium outside and make a reservation. Usually there is a wait, but they will give you a buzzer.
- it is on the dining plan and it does count as a Table Service meal - not counter service.
- as far as snack credits, from the to-go counter, you can get a single scoop ice cream cup, sugar or waffle cone.

BTW, here's a great thread on what counts for snack credits and the various locations. You gotta love Dissers. . . where else would you find this wealth of information?!!!

Beaches and Cream does not accept ADRs - it's first come first serve.

They do accept the dining plan and a meal there counts as 1 table service meal.

As far as I know, nothing there counts as a snack credit, but I could be wrong since I haven't used the dining plan in about three years.

I have never had to make a reservation there, in fact I'm not even sure they take reservations.

Here is a link to Beaches and Cream:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dinin...estaurant.ID=9

Here it is on the dining plan, under Yacht & Beach:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-dining-plan.htm

Looks like it's only available as a TS meal.

Hope this helps!

B&C does not take adrs and is a very very small place that frequently has long waits for tables. It is TS on the DP. Nothing inside counts as a snack credit. Snack credits can be used at the to go window. The to go window does not serve food or any of the signature sundaes. It is basic single scoop ice cream, ice cream bars, and drinks

beter option pay out of pocket..

I think you are better off paying out of pocket if you want to eat here.. We enjoy the burgers and sundaes here but would NOT use it as a TS on the dining plan... TO many other places whee you get more bang for your buck.....
My two cents..

I don't know about that, we ate here and got 2 hamburger plates, one steak and chese, and a kids burger and one banana split and we came out with 70.00 plus, so if I would have been on the dinning plan I would have used it for sure.

What do you get here on the DP - is it a burger meal and any of the desserts (apart from Kitchen sink obviously) or are you limited in your choice of what you can order on DP?

We were there last month and loved it! We arrived around noon and were immediately seated! We used a ts credit and DH and I split the double cheeseburger (huge! I couldn't finish my half) with onion rings and a sundae for dessert. Our DD was with us and the 3 of us couldn't finish the sundae! I look forward to going back in Sept!

But that would have been a less-than-effective use of DDP credits.

Cost is $39.99. Where people have estimated the actual value, it breaks down to about snack = $3; cs meal = $12; ts meal = $25.

Pretty much, if the TS meal's total including tax is less than $25, and if one intends to pay for some food out of pocket, it's better to pay cash for the meal and save the DDP credit for a more expensive meal.

Beaches & Cream is the one restaurant for which we have consistent reports that they will NOT let you share on the dining plan.
