Here are my elements for Group O 7. "at the beach"

The toppers will have their life preservers in different locations to try to keep from covering the pics of the characters.
The large life preserver is meant to be a journal box. However, the writing portion is adhered with glue dots. You can slide a photo in instead.

Just need to finish adhereing the preservers to the title and put the rope around the rest of the journal boxes.

I love everything so far. Mom and I are at the beach until the 24th but brought stuff to work on. We have all our paper but had to leave the cricut at home.

Great job ladies!

ZTH~ Banana is going to be all over that page! She'll want to save it for Hawaii!
and your FE~ I swear once again great minds think alike. I was going to attache jbs to the FE and include brads so you could take off the ribbon if someone didnt like it and Im making a topper that says "Weve Got Mail".
For Pirates I did photomats with charms (Jack inspired) and I made altered paperclips with a parrot outline and fun fiber.
I was trying to be brave and think outside the box so I hope you all will like them.
And for Topsider Buffet I used the cricut and tried to get as close as I could to the sign outside the buffet.
I will post pics this weekend.

AR, those all sound really cute! I can't wait to see.

And AWM, I love, love, love the at the beach elements! The life preserver even has rope! Ingenious! (I just finished babysitting... none of your kids. I wish I was babysitting them, I have a feeling they're all far more behaved COMBINED than what I just had to deal with)

I found a "pirate mesh" border online for the cricut and CDS. It looks cute, it's not Mickey-ized, but I may be able to work with it. Anyhow, it's nearly 12 inches, so I wanted to make sure that everyone scrapped in 12x12, at least those in the Pirate Night group.

I do, Jennifer. I used to do about 15 x 11.5 when I had this old scrapbook (my very first one, about this time last year...) that I found in my closet. But I then realized how many things were available to me....
such as pirate mesh borders. That sounds really cool!

I have a question - for people who use SCAL, do they always have to turn off their machine after finishing a cut and then back on for it to work again, or is that just a glitch for me?

Pluto is my very first ever cricut character. I hope he's ok. The doghouse is popdotted if you want to put small photo inside. Thanks to Ann and Hope for their help!

Pluto looks great! And you even got his eyes not to look like a Zombie Pluto.... that's one of the problems with the character eyes, if you put them on wrong, they look possessed.
