Question Has anyone had a package delivered to their resort?

Hello all,

I'm thinking of buying a digital camera on Amazon to use on our trip. Since we're arriving from outside the United States, it would be a money saver to have the camera delivered and waiting for us when we arrive in CSR. I would try to time the delivery to coincide with our arrival date, but one never knows if it could arrive before or after.

Has anyone done something like this? Will the hotel hold the package for me? Any charge Attached?

Thanks!

Since CSR also has a convention facility, they charge for all incoming packages. Shipments are common at convention resorts. I have not shipped there, others could perhaps post the proceedure and costs.

We had a package of food sent via UPS to CSR about 3 weeks ago. It arrived on a Thursday and we got there on Sunday. There was a small holding fee that was $5. We just had to call bell services and they delivered it within 10 minutes.

We stayed at the Cabins last summer and having 4 teenagers, we wanted to save money as much as possible so we had 2 very large boxes delivered of items and they arrived 2 days early, in fact the front desk called me to let me know the boxes had arrived. When we checked in they delivered the boxes to our cabin and I gave the cast members a very nice tip, we also ordered food from garden grocer and that came while we were at the park, the cast members had put away all of our groceries as well. Front desk did not charge us anything to store our boxes however we did give them mickey mouse gift cards to 'thank them' for the time and effort that put into our request. We only went out 1 time for dinner as we were celebrating my step daughters 16th birthday. All the other times I figured each time we sat down to eat inside our cabin, we saved about $200.00. We stayed at Disney for 10 days and 9 nights.

I had purchased a 4 day park hopper, and had an extra day left from another trip. Of COURSE I left that extra day ticket at home. My dad FedEx'ed them down to Pop for us and we had no problem. They called us when it came in and were very helpful.

We had medical supplies shipped there for us when we stayed at AKL, and I don't recall paying any extra for it
