Oh auntie, I hope he is proud of me. I hope he understands everything. I hope he knows how many times I wish I had done something different that would have made a difference. I hope he knows how our love will live on in me and our son and his family. I hope he is smiling right now.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to me.

That's all you can do is keep trying to find the silver lining. On a side note, today is the 6 year anniversary of my DH's Grandmother's passing. She had a heart attack, then the blood thinners caused a stroke. She was such a vibrant woman, so strong and outspoken. She's still missed. I'm in school and on days when it seems so overwhelming, I can still hear her voice in my head telling me to hang in there. My 6 year old was 9 months old when she passed...I wish she could see her now. She would get such a kick out of her strong willed ways. Sad as we were, she had such unshakeable faith. I remember her telling us that she knew she was going to heaven when she passed, and not to be sad, becasue she would be joyous in her heavenly home. Ron's there too.

And while I'm not you would call a very religous person, I truly believe that out loved ones are looking down upon us. When we cry, they cry and they rejoice when we are happy. Righ now, I bet Ron's jumping for joy. And Shelby is shaking her head, upset with all of us that we're so sad on this day. Because she's at peace. And so is Ron.

Thank you amyy and KimFIGfern. I am so happy right now. I'm hoping she has an easier time with this one than the first. She was on bed rest for most of her pregnancy with Jesse. But he turned out pretty well.

My girlfriend came over this afternoon. We went to Smithville for a walk around the stores and had lunch. She had never been to my house before. She loved all my decorations, toys and everything. Now tomorrow I can start putting away alllll the Christmas decorations. That will take me a couple of weeks at least. It takes me longer now. But I am ready to have the house all back to normal. It will seem kind of dark without all the Christmas lights though.

Thanks CJ I'm praying for the same thing.

I started putting away my decorations this morning. I only had an hour or so to work on it. I wanted to broil up my grape tomatoes this morning. I cut them in half and squeeze out the seeds. ICK Nasty stuff. I add some chopped onion, grated garlic, oregano, S & P and basil and them broil the whole thing for a couple of minutes. Just until the tomatoes start to wrinkle and get real sweet. It was very good on my BLT for lunch.

I'll have more time tomorrow to get stuff put away.

Congratulations on the new baby!

My BIL passed away in November of 2008. My sister was only 61 at the time. Her grandchildren are a real source of joy for her now. I hope everything goes smoothly for your daughter in law.

Thanks snappyd. It's for sure that Jesse is the bright light for me now. He looks up at me with such love in his eyes. I truly think Ron has a hand in that.

Hope everyone's doing well, just wanted to pop in and say Hi! We've ll been sick with a stomach virus. Dd6 had it Saturday night around 1 am. I heard her burp and thought "That doesn't sound good" Went to turn out the light and check on her, turn around and she's standing there behind me. She said "you know how you feel sometimes when..." and that's all she got out. I grabbed the trashcan (amost in time). So I took care of Dd, got a Sprite, gave her a bath and tucked into bed while DH cleaned up. (I kinda giggled cause I have a weak stomach so I was glad he did it)

Well, then Dh gets it Monday and Tuesday and DD11 had it Tuesday night in the middle of the night, didn't wake me up until she was done. So I got to clean up her mess yesterday morning...let me tell you, I would have gladly cleaned up after DD6 instead. How in the world does one manage to get sick on every wall of the bathroom. I don't know, but dd managed to do it.

Then I felt bad all day yesterday, never got sick but felt horrible. DD6 was in heaven because she got to fix her own dinner. Microwaveable pizza rolls, chips and applesauce, with ginger ale. She loves ginger ale. After, she put her plate in the dishwasher along with mine and other dd's, got out her school clothes, and took a bath the 1st time I asked.

Truly amazing since she's my reminder girl. Have to remind her 1,000 times to do anything. She's getting a big this afternoon !!!

Angelrose, is DDIL doing OK??

Hello all!!!! Long time no hear (from me)
CONGRATS Angelrose! How wonderful...Jesse will be a perfect big brother and another little baby-bundle to hug. Sending prayers that this time will be smooth sailing from start to finish! When is she due? Something so wonderful to look forward to!!

How was WDW CHell?? I thought of you and then time ran away from me... I was sick with some nasty bug for about 10 days after Chrsitmas and then we went on a family Cruise Jan 9 and got home here Jan 20. Getting my youngest daughter set to head back to NYC and school this coming Sunday then I think I told you (??) my oldest is off to Disney for the Cultural program at Epcot for a year come May soooo it's been a whirlwind around here! I see everyone making great strides getting all the Christmas decorations put to bed except me! It screams Christmas at my house! Next week--for sure! I still have 1 suitcase to unpack and add to the wash...

How is everyone? Happy to see that you are all chatting away--I think of you soooo often..

Oh ksumn1, I hope you feel better. Those stomach bugs are the worst. That is so cute that your DD6 was helping mommy by being a big girl. AWWWW

minnie56 welcome back. We were wondering where you were. It sounds like you've been super busy. Karen is doing well so far, thanks. She is due around the middle of September. We'll know better when she gets her sonogram done.

Chuck is coming over tomorrow morning and helping me get some decorations down and putting them away for me. Then if all goes well, I will be going to see Avatar 3D tomorrow. I have one last call to my girlfriend tomorrow morning to make sure. I am really looking forward to that.

Avatar looks like a great movie. Not really the type of thing I would normally like, but the graphics alone make it appealing. Hope you have a good time.

Sick again today, ugh.

minnie56, sounds like you've been busy, busy, busy. Maybe you'll get a little rest soon.

chell, how are the kitties?

ksumn1 I'm so sorry you are feeling bad again. Please take care of yourself and feel better soon.

I went to see Avatar this afternoon. OH. MY. GOODNESS! It was fantastic! The story, the colors, the special effects, the action! It was close to 3 hours long, but I would gladly pay $10 to see it in 3D again. It actually felt like you were doing the things the characters were doing. This picture should get many academy awards.

Chuck came over this morning to help me put away some Christmas stuff and we talked for a while. It's always good to see him.
