by the way, i love the title. my other favorites are the one about rope drop, schmope drop - that's totally ray and i! and the one about burning hair....peeks my curiosity!

Because we have a some new readers and a ton of lurkers, I thought that starting with the final version of the itinerary would be a good place to begin; as well as a who the heck is going on this magical Disney trip. Guess how many times we followed the below plan?




Sunday, Mother's Day:

* Arrive MCO, ME to OKW GV- check in
* MK. We can rest later.
* Ohana for dinner and then MK for evening EMH unless we are beat and in that case we'll skip EMH.


Monday:

* Sleep in a bit then Epcot
* Le Cellier for lunch. Jenna's boys will be at the shuttle launch all day.
* MGM EMH 7- 10 pm, CS for dinner


Tuesday:

* MGM for rope drop maybe
* break
* Marrakesh for dinner with Keith and Tracy!!!! Illuminations 9 pm


Wednesday:

* AK for rope drop
* AK all day
* Boma for dinner
* AK for evening EMH


Thursday:

* Typhoon Lagoon
* MGM, Sci Fi, F! at 9:00


Friday:

* Check out of OKW and into AKV
* MK with Keith and Tracy
* MK, Crystal Palace then Epcot for EMH


Saturday:

* Sleep in a little Early Boma breakfast with some work friends.
* AK
* T Rex Cafe in DTD


Sunday:

* MGM rope drop
* Tony's for dinner
* MK evening EMH, Wishes 9 pm


Monday:

* Check out of AKV and into POR
* Epcot. Rose and Crown or Beaches for lunch.
* cry because we had to say goodbye
* MGM for evening EMH


Tuesday:

* MK rope drop
* MK
* Last night in MK


Wednesday:

* Pack
* swim
* say goodbye
* cry



In addition to what we were going to do I'd like to share a little history about our motley crew. Basically we all met on another Disney board. Yup, I said, I own it here anyway. I have known Keith for over 4 years, Tracy for a little over 2, and Jenna et al for just about 2 years. I can tell you that Jenna and I were raised by the same insane muthas, not really but we could have been because we share such similar histories. She is truly one of the nicest, funniest women I have ever met and I am proud to call her my friend. Our families hit it off immediately when we met in 2007 and they even came and spent with the holidays with us. We will vacation as a group for many years to come. We have traveled to Yellowstone together with our families and currently have a few vacays in the works. If it were up to Michael and I, they'd buy the 1/2 acre down the street from us and build their dream home.

Keith and I have been friends the longest and some said it wouldn't last. There are some not worthy details to share (regarding others) but let's say he's like the brother I never had. As much as we natter at each other, it doesn't compare to the genuine care I feel for him. His a child magnet and my family adores him. We are hoping he will visit us in Utah this summer.

Tracy is Keith's beloved and I am overjoyed to call her my friend. She's the easy one of the bunch. Not easy like that gutter minds, easy as in go with the flow. She's very sweet and deserves sainthood for dealing with Keith. She is a considerate house guest, I just wish we saw the kids more often. Hopefully she'll be joining Keith for the Utah summer visit. Plus she calls me skinny so how could I not adore that?

It's not often that you say something nice about me instead of teasing me, so I should take the time to say the feeling is mutual! You and your family are quite awesome.

And the chances of a visit are good. I'm starting the training regimen on Monday.

You can't do the Echo if you are not in Utah. M is going to email you before Monday. I told him you'd need it this weekend for sure.

You know, regarding the DDP, I am not sure we'd do it again. I know that's blasphemous around these parts but really it was just too much food. Maybe if we went during the cooler months but not when WDW is in the 90's.

Sorry Jenna and I have been slacking. She's in the weeds so to speak (that's old bartender lingo) and I have been literally in the weeds, well garden. I must have planted 50+ perennials and annuals.
