I was lying on my back the whole time (fully clothed it's not like a regular massage) She began by holding my feet and gently pulling my legs away from my sacrum (lower back/tailbone area) Then she read my energy somehow to find out where the pain was. Then she placed one hand under my lower back and another on my hip and very subtly moved my spine and hips to align my sacrum. That took awhile and I could tell it was working because my guts started gurgling. It was a really weird sensation. Then she worked her way up to the middle of my back and worked on my kidney area... somehow she knew that I had kidney problems. Then she spent a lot of the time working on my upper back and sternum (that KILLED even though it was very subtle) ... again, she knew that I had pleurisy recently without being told. By then my head felt like it was about to explode and my eyes bug out of my head. She worked on my head the longest since that's where my problem area is. I am VERY in tune with my body so the subtle movements seemed ginormous to me. Today I feel like I've had my butt kicked but everything feels aligned and evenly distributed. She gave me this thing to put behind my head for 15 min a day to keep me aligned. Then I go back next week. It was only $55 for an hour and 1/2!

She's looking into different therapists in Santa Barbara and checking out their experience and education to see who would be most reliable. I'd be happy to give her your zip code for some recommendations for you. It'll do wonders for your fibro. It allows you to handle atmospheric pressure changes extremely well.

Yeah we're actually staying at the Golden Nugget which is basically on top of the Freemont Street Experience. Less than a month to go!

Thoughts and prayers to Melody and her family.

Hope you all are having a nice day. I ended up taking off today and tomorrow because of Josh. We just couldn't keep staying up through each night (we're taking shifts) and keeping up with the kids and me working. I'm happy to report that Vash has eaten twice and hasn't gotten sick in almost 24 hours. We're taking him to the vet later this morning to get some more IV fluids and a couple of shots, just want to make sure he's on the mend.

Oh, Mel, I'm so very sorry! I've had two losses, so I know a piece of what your DD is feeling. Biggest of gentle hugs.

And on that note, I am off to the doctors for some tests. If you could all do me a favor and send some prayers and well wishes my way, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Talk to you all later.
Big hugs to Melody and her family.
And pixie dust to our Beth. I am sure everything will be fine, we'll all be here if you need us.

Everyone have a fabulous Thursday.

Oh Melody, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

And to Beth - pixie dust coming your way - a whole bucket of it! I hope everything goes ok at your appointment!

As for me, I am having a fine day. It is really pretty weather around here and I am enjoying it. I will be working some overtime this coming week but that is ok because the money will help pay for my disney trips!...and maybe some towards a downpayment on a new house.

Have a great day and here is to some better health for all our Divas!

Sarah

Hello everyone!

Dawn – Please send hugs to Melody. You’re post brought tears to my eyes…so true that sometimes we forget what is really important and we need to be thankful for the time we have with those we love and who are important in our lives!

Bree – Sounds like you had a great time! My DD will be 21 next May and her BD request is a trip to Vegas but I don’t think she’ll have as much fun as you did going with me and she needs me to go to pay! She’ll have to plan a trip with her friends at a later time!
And yes to second Cheryl’s question did the jewelery man get your phone number??

Linda – Don’t you leave for Vancouver tomorrow?

Kelly – Glad you had a fun birthday day yesterday and your new necklace and bracelet are beautiful!

Beth – Hugs and good luck at your Dr. appointment. I’ve been through a couple of those nail biting appointments myself lately!

Steph and Cheryl – Glad the puppy/kitty are both eating!

Wave to Courtney, Bridgette, Cheryl, Sarah, Laurie, and to anyone I missed.

My mom met with her dr. yesterday and they have scheduled her surgery for June 29. I was going to go to Denver for the week of June 14 but I have changed my plans so I can be there for her surgery. They won’t really know if the cancer is contained in that one nodule but he is planning to explore and make sure that it has not spread into her lymp nodes and if it has then he will take out all affected tissue. I am anxiously waiting for her surgery so we’ll really know what is going on.

Have a great day everyone and for those in thunder/lightening/bad weather areas stay safe...this weather in CA is maknig me feel at home...just like being in CO!

I thought we were meeting at Cove Bar?

But I don't care--it's Bridgette's choice!

Beth: hugs to you.

Steph--I'm glad Vash is better.

Melody: I'm so sorry for your family's loss.

Definitely make an dining reservation wherever you pick -- your choice and we'll be there.

DAWN - your note was so touching about Melody - let her know we are all thinking of her and her family. She is such a sweetheart, it's so sad all this is happening to her at once.

!

Glad you have the date set. It will be good to have that behind you all.

Steph - so glad to hear Vash is eating!

Beth, thinking of you now at the doctors... let's have some good news and an easy result.

Everyone else, have a great day. My back is healing so slowly...

Melody - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Beth - prayers and pixie dust for a good doctor's appointment.

Breezy - Sounds like you had SOOOO much fun! In my younger days, I would have totally gone topless too. But now, after two kids, I would just scare everyone. My girls tend to look down at the floor these days. I was in a wet t-shirt contest in college though.....in my firmer days. That was fun.

Hello everyone.

I haven't been around in awhile & hope I didn't miss anything important. My life is not going so great and I've been in a slump, but I'm staying positive.

Steph- Hope your doggie gets a good report at the Vet.

Cheryl- Glad Chase is eating again, that's a great sign.

Beth- Good luck at the doctors and hope you only get news .

Bridgette- I'd love to join your b-day get-together. I really need some girl only time (anyone want to meet sooner ).

Dawn- Thanks for letting us know about Mel. Poor girl. I hope she's doing okay and her family is in my prayers .

Michelle-Hope your studying for the bar is going well & good luck.

Capri- Stay strong girl. You are an inspiration to me & I wish I had the drive to go back to school and further my education.

Hugs to everyone who needs one. Hi to everyone I missed.

Talk to you all later.
