Amazing

WOW... Y'all are absolutely amazing. I found this board a few days ago and I've read every chance I've got.

We are going on a Dream cruise... June 6 2012 and we can hardly wait.

Since I've found this board I've bought magnetic paper, sharpies, dry erase boards and post its.. *grin*

Thank you all so very much for sharing all your wonderful talents. Some of us, ok me... I'm completely computer illiterate and y'all have made this all so much fun!

Wonder-ful!

Hey - we have cruised several times but never decorated our stateroom doors - is theft of these marvelous designs ever a problem? I plan to print a whole bunch for our upcoming Alaskan Adventure!!!

This is probably a dumb question but where do you buy this "magnet paper"???

We've found it eaiser to buy a roll of magnetic tape at Michaels and laminate our door magnets then just stick the magnets on the back.

Oriental Trading has some magnetic sheets.....I have never used them so can't guarantee that they will work in a printer.

I just usually use the roll of magnetic tape and put some on each corner of the item

I found them on ebay for very reasonable prices under the title Magnet Paper/Sheets-Inkjet-Photo Quality-10 Sheets - With my winning bid, I paid under $8.00 for them, including shipping. Good luck!

Welcome to the boards!

Personally we've never had a problem with magnet thieves or pranksters.

It probably doesn't hurt to be prepared for the possibility though. Unfortunately I have seen reports of magnets disappearing or being moved to other doors. Luckily I think those cases are more the exception than the rule.

I did always put our name and/or stateroom number somewhere on our magnets, even if just on the back. I figured that might discourage theft and would definitely make it easier to identify them if they happened to go wandering.
